Undefeated Tigers Face Top-Ranked Opponents at Navy Pier

Columbia, Mo.-The No. 18-ranked Mizzou heads to Chicago, Ill. for a quad meet against the nation's best. The Tigers will compete against No. 7 UCLA, No. 15 Boise State and No. 19 Illinois at the IGI/Chicago Style Invite. The meet starts at 7:30 p.m., and fans can purchase tickets at the door. Last Time Out
The Tigers won their fifth-consecutive dual meet this season on Feb. 3 against NC State. Mizzou put up a season-high 195.925 to top the Wolfpack's 195.225. The Tigers are off to one of the best starts in program history as this is the first time ever that the Tigers have won five consecutive dual meets to start the season. Senior Mary Burke took the all-around title at the meet as she matched her career-high all-around score, and the Tigers also swept the event titles.

Looking Up UCLA
The Tigers and the Bruins have seen each other three times in program history, but only once in the regular season. The last regular season meet between the teams was in 1984 at the Oregon State Invite. Ranked at No. 7 in the nation, the Bruins boast a season average 196.435 score. Seven Bruins are nationally ranked on one or more event. Samantha Peszek is ranked fourth in the nation in the all-around with a 39.488 average. Vanessa Zamarripa ranks first in the nation on vault with a 9.935 average as well.

Scouting Boise State
Missouri and Boise State are 1-1 in program history with the last meeting coming in 2008. The Tigers' last victory over the Broncos was in 2004 at a tri-meet with Utah State. The Tigers won the meet with a score of 196.350. The Broncos are currently ranked No. 15 in the nation according to GymInfo. The Broncos are 3-2 this season, coming off of a victory over BYU. The team boasts a season average of 194.963. The team earned its season-high of 196.175 against Sacramento State in the second meet of the season. The Broncos are led by Amy Glass, who is currently ranked No. 2 in the nation on the beam with an average score of 9.888.

Eye on the Illini
The Illini are ranked just below Missouri at No. 19 in the country with a season average of 194.800. The Illini are led by Kelsey Joannides and Amber See. Joannides boasts a 39.056 all-around average and See averages a 9.888 on floor exercise. Missouri and Illinois have met 26 times in program history, and Missouri leads the regular season series 14-6. The Tigers hosted the Illini last season for the annual Pink Out meet. Illinois won the meet, 195.400-195.000.

Quick Hits
• Missouri is now 4-0 against ranked opponents as the Tigers knocked off No. 24 Iowa State on Jan. 8, No. 16 Denver on Jan. 20, No. 4 Nebraska and No. 23 NC State. Two of the wins have been upsets.
Rachel Updike has been named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week for five consecutive weeks, marking the first time that Missouri has earned this award in consecutive weeks, and the first time any gymnast has earned a weekly award five weeks in a row. She is one of three gymnasts in the Big 12 to win a weekly award five times in one season.
• The Tigers are on their way to one of the best starts in program history as the team is now 5-0. It is the first time in program history that Missouri has won five consecutive dual meets to start the season.
•Freshman Rachel Updike has been named to CollegeSports360's Primetime Performers Honor Roll twice this season. Senior Mary Burke earned the honor most recently on Jan. 31 also.
