Pink Out Opens Season Friday
The 2013 Mizzou Gymnastics season opens on Friday when the Missouri Tigers host the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide in Missouri's annual Pink Out meet. One dollar of every ticket sold for the meet will go to benefit the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center. Tickets for the meet are $5 for adults and $3 for children. The first 500 fans to arrive will receive a free Pink out t-shirt, and a kid's carnival will be held prior to the meet, opening at 5:30 p.m.

Your 2013 Tiger Squad
The 2013 Mizzou Gymnastics team opened the season with a Black & Gold exhibition contest at Lindenwood University on Dec. 9, 2012. The meet was the first-ever competition for the Lindenwood Lions, who are just beginning their first year of gymnastics. The Tigers had a consistent performance, and had meet counted as an actual competition, the team would have scored a 194.550.

A look at Alabama
The two-time defending NCAA Champion Alabama gymnastics team will make its first-ever trip to Columbia. Coaches Sarah and David Patterson are in their 35th season leading the Tide and have won six NCAA Championships including the last two in a row.

Alabama vs. Missouri History
The Tigers and the Crimson Tide have met 25 times in program history. The Tigers have an 0-14 record in regular season competition and 0-11 in the post-season. The last meeting between the two teams was in 2012 when Missouri traveled to Tuscaloosa to compete in a meet benefitting tornado relief. Missouri fell to the Tide, 197.175-195.375.
