SALT LAKE CITY - Competing as an individual competitor, sophomore Adrianne Perry scored a 39.075 in the all-around during session two of the NCAA Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Thursday night. The score tied Perry for 10th in the second session and 22nd overall.

"Adrianne really had a good meet tonight, she was solid everywhere," Head Coach Rob Drass said. "She looked good on all four events and was especially great on beam, where she included her skill in the routine. It's always tough to compete without a team but was a great meet for her and I'm really proud."

Rotating with Stanford throughout the meet, Perry opened her competition on floor and notched a 9.775 before scoring a 9.800 on vault in the second rotation. After a bye, Perry moved to bars in the fourth rotation and posted a 9.700 before ending the night on beam with a 9.800 to tie for 17th on the event. The beam total tied her score from last year's NCAA Championships as the highest event total in program history.

Utah scored a 197.325 to finish first in the second session, followed by Stanford (197.200) and UCLA (196.475) to join session one's Georgia (197.700), Florida (197.400) and Nebraska (196.625) as qualifiers for tomorrow's Super Six team finals.

Additionally, the top four gymnasts on all events (including ties) during each session qualified for Saturday's Individual Event Finals and earned first team All-America accolades. Finishers five through eight were named to the All-America second team.
