Mizzou Gymnastics had a busy week this week, as the Tigers are preparing for Black and Gold. The Freshman are getting excited for this experience; it will be their first meet as Tigers. Come see the Black & Gold Intrasquad on Friday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m!
Prep:Earned the titles of 2010 Elite National Beam and Floor Champion as well as Regional Beam Champion...Placed seventh on vault at the national meet...Honored as a Region 3 Senior B Team Champion in 2010 as well...2009 State Champion on Floor and placed second on vault, beam and in the all-around...Member of the USA Junior National Team from 2006-2007...International qualifier for a competition in Belgium.
Personal: Overland Park, Kan. native...Daughter of Paula and Shawn Updike...Born on December 7, 1992...participated as a Blue Valley Northwest Junior Varsity cheerleader and an Olathe Northwest Varsity cheerleader...Is currently studying Pre-Health Professions at Mizzou.
