Mizzou Gymnastics paid a visit to Venture Out last month to take part in a few teambuilding activities. One of the team's favorites was the high ropes course, also known as the Alpine Tower!
Sophomore (2012): Appeared on the uneven bars for the first time in 2012 in the Tigers upset of No. 16 Denver...Competed for the Tigers on beam for the first time in her career against Nebraska and also set a new career-high on bars at the meet...Improved on her career-high bars score against NC State posting a 9.775...and again matched the score versus Bowling Green State...Set a personal best on the beam against No. 9 Arkansas
Freshman (2011): Matched her career-high on bars in an exhibition against Illinois...Made her first appearance as a Tiger against SEMO at the fifth-annual Beauty and the Beast meet...Exhibitioned on bars four times during the 2011 season...Recognized as a Scholastic All-American by the NACGC/W.
Prep: Trained at ConocoPhillips Gymnastics in Bartlesville, Okla. under the direction of Sam and Susie Barto... Attended Bartlesville High School...Placed 3rd in All-Around at the 2010 Level 10 State Meet...Named 2009 State and Regional Champion...Placed second in All-Around, third, on bars, and second on floor at level 9 Westerns...Eleven-time Oklahoma All State Gymnastics Award winner... Personal bests include 9.275 on vault, 9.35 on bars, 9.375 on beam, 9.65 on floor and 37.65 All-Around...Chose Missouri over Arkansas, Utah State, OU, Rutgers, Central Michigan and Seattle Pacific.
Personal: Daughter of David and Shellie McGill...Born June 13, 1992...Comes to Missouri from Bartlesville, Okla... plans to study physical therapy at Mizzou...earned the Johnson O'Malley Academic Achievement Award in 2010...graduated high school with honors in psychology and math.
