Mizzou Gymnastics paid a visit to Venture Out last month to take part in a few teambuilding activities. One of the team's favorites was the high ropes course, also known as the Alpine Tower!
Sophomore (2013): Suffered a season-ending injury prior to the Tigers' first meet against No. 1 Alabama...was also recognized by the Southeastern Conference as a member of the 2013 Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll.
Freshman (2012): Consistently competed for the Tigers on the vault in her freshman season...made the lineup in the Tigers' first meet of the season against Iowa State...Earned a career high score of 9.825 against Arkansas.
Prep:Trained under the direction of Jack and Lori Nettesheim at Midwest Twisters...Competed at Level 10 since 2007...Western Nationals Qualifier in 2005 and 2006 and served as a Level 10 Nationals alternate in 2007 and 2008...Level 10 National Qualifier in 2009...qualified for Level 10 nationals and the 2010 Level 10 National Invitational Tournament as well...placed fifth in the all-around and earned second place recognition on floor as well as fourth place honors on beam.
Personal:Daughter of Rick and Julie Johnson...Born January 19, 1993...Native of Pewaukee, Wis...Was an All-Conference member of her high school volleyball team...Three-year member of the honor roll and recipient of the President's Education Award...Is currently pursuing a degree in Journalism at Mizzou.
