Mizzou Gymnastics paid a visit to Venture Out last month to take part in a few teambuilding activities. One of the team's favorites was the high ropes course, also known as the Alpine Tower!
Junior (2012): Is a staple on the Tiger squad as she competed in every meet for the Tigers in 2012...Earned her career-high score of 9.900 on the balance beam against Oklahoma...also posted a career-high 9.900 score on floor against Bowling Green State...Scored a 9.700 or above on the floor exercise in every meet for Missouri contributing to the Tigers solid year on the apparatus.
Sophomore (2011): Set a career-high on vault in her exhibition routine at the Cancun Classic...Set a new career-high on floor at the fifth-annual Beauty and the Beast meet against SEMO...Matched her then career-high floor record against Nebraska...Set a new career-high on floor against Southern Utah to take first on the event...Named to the Academic All Big 12 first team and earned Scholastic All-America honors from the NACGC/W...Set a career-high on beam at the Big 12 Championship.
Freshman (2010):Spent the first half of the season as the lead-off competitior for the Tigers on floor ... Only competed officially on floor against Ohio State, but exhibitioned on vault and beam where she looked confident with a 9.750 and 9.650, respectively ... Led Missouri off on floor against Ohio State with a strong 9.750 to place second on the event ... Posted a season and career-high 9.825 on vault at the Lady Luck Invitational, her first time in the lineup ... Started off the team's 49.400 floor against Iowa State with a 9.825 ... Tied for second on floor at Centenary with a 9.775 ... Had a great meet competing officially and unofficially at Illinois with exhibitions on vault (9.775) and beam (9.725), while posting just below her career high on floor with a 9.800 ... Set a new career high on beam of 9.750 at the Big 12 Championship ... Matched her career-high 9.750 on beam at regionals.
Prep:Trained at St. Louis Gym Centre in Webster Groves, Mo., under the direction of Laura Faintich ... Was the Missouri State Level 9 Champion in 2004 and 2005 ... Won the Region 4 Championship in 2005 (Level 9) and 2007 (Level 10) ... Qualified for Level 10 Nationals three times ... In 2008 was the Level 10 Missouri State Champion after winning every event ... Went on to place second in the all-around at Regionals ... Personal bests include a 9.825 on vault, 9.55 on beam and 9.65 on floor ... Choose Mizzou over Southeast Missouri State, Bowling Green and Illinois.
