Junior (2002): Leah Gremaud highlighted her junior season as one of the Tigers premier beam competitors … won the beam title against Southeast Missouri State … reestablished her Cat Classic and all-time Missouri record scoring a 9.925 on the beam … she once again came back to repeat the feat at the Corvette Cup with another 9.925 beam routine to reset her Mizzou junior record as well … topped the beam lineup against Iowa State winning the beam title scoring a 9.900 … also regularly appearing in the Tiger floor lineup, she hit career high floor routines at the Cat Classic and against Oklahoma/Centenary scoring a 9.975 … was sidelined for part of the season following a broken hand sustained during the BYU meet.
Sophomore (2001): Recorded four of Missouri’s top-10 beam scores in school history … set the MU school and sophomore record scoring a 9.925 on the beam at the Cat Classic … advanced to the NCAA Region III competition in the balance beam … posted career-high 38.900 all-around score against Oklahoma … received academic All-America accolades from the American Gymnastics Coaches Association … also named to the academic All-Big 12 first team.
Freshman (2000): Set the Missouri freshman record on balance beam in her very first meet – 9.85 vs. Iowa State, Jan. 9 ... had a season-high on floor of 9.75 at the Cat Classic.
Club/High School: Trained at Team Central in St. Louis, the same club that has produced five former Tigers ... advanced to nationals three times ... was the St. Louis Post-Dispatch prep “athlete of the week” and was honored by KSDK-TV as its prep “scholar-athlete of the week” ... USGF career-bests: vault (9.4), bars (9.4), beam (9.575), floor (9.65) all-around (37.9) ... club coaches — Scott and Debbie Cusimano and Greg Stefon … her grade-point average at Fort Zumwalt South High School (Mo.) exceeded 4.0.
