Meet the New Tigers

Meet freshman Blair Elmore! She comes to Mizzou from Houston, Texas where she trained at Champions Gymnastics.

Freshman (2012-13): Exhibitioned for the Tigers in five meets her freshman season, beginning with Mizzou's SEC opener against Alabama...earned a spot in the beam lineup against LSU and competed in the floor lineup at Arkansas...exhibitioned on two events against Illinois, marking the first time in her career she has seen action in two events in the same meet.

Prep: Trained at Champions Gymnastics in Katy, Texas under Kellie Mizoguchi...boasts a career-high 37.425 all-around score from her high school career...placed second on beam and in the all-around at the 2012 JO National Invitational and earned a fourth place finish on floor in 2011...Is a three-time qualifier for the JO National Invitational meet.

Personal: Houston, Texas native...daughter of Jimmy and Becky Elmore...graduated summa cum laude from Clear Lake High School, finishing with a grade point average in the top seven percent of her class...brother, Will, plays baseball for Millsaps College...chose Missouri over Cornell, Brown and Iowa State...plans to study Biology at Mizzou in hopes to become a doctor or surgeon.
