Tucson, Ariz. - Mizzou Women's Golf will join forces with Kansas State this weekend to host the 16th annual Mountain View Collegiate Invitational. The Tigers will host the tournament at the Par 72, 6,227 yard course at MountainView Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz. The two-day tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. on Friday, March 28. Teams will play two rounds Friday with the third round beginning with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Saturday (March 29).

A total of 15 teams will compete in the tournament including Arkansas State, BYU, Colorado State, Gonzaga, Kansas State, Kent State, Minnesota, Mizzou, Nebraska, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, Portland State, Redlands Community College, Tulsa and Wyoming.

Last season, Missouri posted its lowest 54-hole team score at the Mountain View Collegiate, finishing fifth overall. Individually, Taylor Gohn took fifth place overall as well finishing 1-under par through three rounds of play.

The Tigers are coming off of a competitive run at the LSU Tiger Golf Classic, where Michelle Butler helped lead the team to a seventh place finish overall. Butler placed among the top 25 with a strong third round score just 2-over par.
