Inclement Weather Cancels Second Round of Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational

AUSTIN, Texas - Inclement weather conditions have canceled the second round of the 35th annual Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational at The University of Texas Golf Club. The tournament will be shortened to 36 holes with the final 18-hole round set to begin Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. Central with a shotgun start.

 

 

Mizzou 13th at Central District Invitational

The Mizzou women's golf team stands in 13th place after two rounds of play at the Central District Invitational in Parrish, Fla. The Tigers carded rounds of 306 and 309 for a two-round total of 615 in their first tournament of the spring.

Mizzou Women's Golf Signs Three

The Missouri women's golf team has signed three high school standouts to National Letters of Intent. The trio of Kate Gallagher from Savannah, Mo., Taylor Gohn from Columbus, Ind. and Ari Savich from Carmel, Ind. will join the Tigers in the fall of 2010.

Potter Ties for 24th at Futures Tour Qualifying

Mizzou senior Julia Potter shot 73 in the final round of the Duramed Futures Tour Qualifying Tournament on Friday. She finished in a tie for 24th place with a five-round total of 366 (75-74-72-72-73). Former Tigers Chelsea Schriewer tied for 32nd in the tournament with a final total of 368 (72-73-76-72-75).

Potter, Schriewer Advance to Final Round of Futures Tour Qualifying

Missouri senior Julia Potter and former Tigers Chelsea Schriewer are two of 96 players that have made the tournament cut into the final round at the Duramed Futures Tour Qualifying Tournament. Potter and Schriewer both concluded 72 holes with 293 totals and will be paired in the same foursome for Friday's final round.
