LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Mizzou junior Julia Potter shot a three-under 69 on Tuesday in round two of the Price's Give `em Five Invitational in Las Cruces, N.M. to take over the individual lead heading into Wednesday's final round.

Potter, who was tied for fifth after the opening round, has a two-round total of 142 and is two shots ahead of second-place Jane Chin of UC-Irvine. Two golfers are four shot back of Potter in a tie for third place.

In the team standings, the Tigers jumped from a tie for 10th place after day one into sole possession of sixth place after Tuesday's second round. MU carded a team score of 303 and has a 36-hole total of 612. It is one shot behind fifth-place New Mexico State and four shot back of fourth-place Oral Roberts. UC-Irvine leads with a two-round total of 595.

Senior Chelsea Schriewer is in a tie for 33rd place with a two-day total of 155 after turning in a 79 on Tuesday. Freshman Hannah Lovelock carded a 75 in round two and is tied for 39th spot with a 156 score. Junior Michelle Morgan has a 36-hole score of 159 and sophomore Madison Marcolla has a two-round total of 166.

The final round in Las Cruces will get underway on Wednesday morning.
