Potter Finishes Fourth at Big 12 Championship

NORMAN, Okla. - Missouri senior Julia Potter shot a one-under-par 71 on Sunday in the final round of the Big 12 Championship and finished in fourth place with a three-day total of 221. Potter's 71 was the second-best score of the day, moving from 12th place after day two into the fourth-place finish.

Missouri recorded a round of 305 on Sunday to finish with a three-day total of 917 (309-305-305), placing in seventh place. The Tigers finished two shot behind sixth-place Colorado and four behind fifth-place Texas Tech.

Texas A&M claimed the team championship with an 896 total, as the Aggies overtook Oklahoma State with a 296 in the final round.

Potter's 71 followed rounds of 77 and 73 to open the tournament. She was even par on the front nine on Sunday and shot one-under on the second nine, making a total of three birdies on the day.

Junior Nicola Race finished in a tie for 15th place with a 54-hole total of 226 after she carded an even par round of 72 on Sunday. Race made three birdies in Sunday's final round.

Sophomore Hannah Lovelock compiled a three-round total of 235 to finish in a tie for 39th spot, while senior Michelle Morgan tied for 44th place with a 236 score. Sophomore Lindsey Haupt finished with a three-round total of 254.
