Jacksonville, Fla. - Redshirt Freshman Michelle Butler and junior Alina Rogers led the Tigers through the first two rounds of play at the Web.com Intercollegiate on Monday, April 7. Butler and Rogers finished the day 2-over par to tie for 28th overall. As a team the Tigers sit in 12th with a team tally 18-over par. Florida State leads the tournament sitting at 8-under par followed by East Carolina (-1) and Chattanooga (+1).

Butler shot at even par in the second round, tallying four birdies through 18 holes. Rogers finished the first round at even par followed by a 2-over par performance in the second round. Freshman Jess Meek is tied for 59th overall after two rounds as she closed the day 8-over par. Meek tallied four birdies in the first round for a score 1-over par.

Senior Taylor Gohn finished the day 10-over par to sit in a tie for 71st in the tournament, and junior Laura Kraft is just one stroke behind in a tie for 75th overall.

The Tigers are joined by 18 other teams in a two-day tournament at Marsh Landing Country Club. The Tigers will play the final round holes on the Par 72, 5,967 yard course beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

The field is composed of 19 total teams including Central Florida, Chattanooga, Cincinnati, East Carolina, Florida International, Florida State, Illinois, Jacksonville, James Madison, Louisville, Maryland, McNeese State, Michigan, Minnesota, North Florida, Ohio State, Sam Houston State and Toledo.
