Round Two Results Get Acrobat Reader

Miami Lakes, Fla.--Missouri Women's Golf is currently sitting in eighth place at the Sir Pizza Terrapin Challenge after two rounds of play on Monday, Feb. 25. Missouri shot 304-307--611 to finish the day 35-over par. NC State currently leads the tournament after finishing the day 14-over par. Florida International is second overall (+15) and Kansas sits in third place (+21).

Freshman Katherine Hepler leads Missouri after two rounds as she is tied for eighth overall. She finished the day 3-over par after tallying six birdies altogether. Hepler earned a 1-over par first round score after recovering from a double bogey on the eleventh hole. Alina Rogers had a breakout second round, shooting 1-under par after finishing the first round with a score of 81. She is currently tied for 23rd overall with teammate Laura Kraft who is competing as an individual. Kraft shot 6-over par in the second round after finishing the first round just 2-over par.

Both Taylor Gohn and Michelle Butler are tied for 55th overall in the tournament with scores of 14-over par. Ariana Savich is also competing for the Tigers in the tournament. She is tied for 58th overall as she sits just one shot behind Gohn and Butler. Savich scored 77-82--159 through two rounds.

The Sir Pizza Terrapin Challenge continues with the third round tomorrow at 8 a.m. The Tigers are playing on the Senator Course at Don Shula's Golf Club in Miami Lakes, Fla.
