Freshman forward from San Antonio, Texas

Why did you choose to attend Missouri?
"Missouri's a great school, it has a great business school, which is what I want to major in. When I came on my visit I met the team and felt like I got along with all of them and the coaches are great."
What are your career aspirations?
"My dad is in the marketing business but really anywhere in business. He does a lot of talking and has a lot of interaction with people so I'd like to do something like that."
Has being a part of the team been what you've expected so far?
"Yeah. The practices are intense, the games are great and the fans are a lot of fun."
What have you learned so far?
"You have to earn your stripes. When you come in and don't get something right away you have to work as hard as you can to get it the way you want it."
How are you adjusting to Missouri so far?
"The weather is a shocker. I don't like the cold very much so it's definitely a big shock."
Is there a road trip you're really looking forward to?
"The Baylor and Texas Tech games because I'm going home and my friends and family will be there."
What are your team goals for the season?
"Try to create team chemistry and try to get everything together."
Individual goals?
"I'm trying to work on defense. I hurt my ankle before I got here so it's been tough but I'm just hoping to really improve on defense."
If you had a free day to do anything you wanted, what would you do?
"If it was warm I'd go home and go to the beach, I really like the beach."
What's your favorite sport to watch besides basketball?
"Volleyball."
What's your favorite thing about Mizzou?
"It has a beautiful campus and Columbia is a beautiful town."
What annoys you the most? "I don't get annoyed really unless someone is constantly tapping me."
