TIGERS OPEN EXHIBITION PLAY AGAINST BEARCATS
Mizzou Women's Basketball opens exhibition play against the Southwest Baptist Bearcats on Tuesday, Oct. 29. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m., and admission to the game is free. Gates open at 6 p.m. and all seating will be general admission.

The Bearcats were one of Missouri's original opponents, as the two teams met in Mizzou's first-ever women's basketball season. Missouri faced Southwest Baptist in the 1974-75 season finale, earning a 96-37 victory over the Bearcats.

HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST
Wear your Halloween costume to Tuesday's exhibition opener and you could win a $50 gift card to the Tiger Team Store. The contest is open to all University of Missouri students, and competitors must check in to the judging table on the northwest side of the Mizzou Arena concourse. Winners will be announced at halftime, with the first place winner receiving a $50 gift card to the Team Store. The second place contestant will receive a $25 gift card.

Mizzou will continue exhibition play next Tuesday, Nov. 5 against Quincy. The game is slated for 7 p.m. in Mizzou Arena. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and fans can participate in an autograph session with Mizzou Cheerleaders, Golden Girls and Truman the Tiger. Admission to the game is free and seating will be general admission.

QUICK HITS
• The Tigers' return only two starters from last season, but the team will bring back 62-percent of its scoring from a year ago including leading scorers Bri Kulas and Morgan Eye.

• Mizzou will return 82-percent of its SEC and school record-breaking three-point shooting from last season. The Tigers made 263 treys last year and bring back 215 of those makes. Morgan Eye led the team and the league with 112 threes last season and finished the year as the NCAA National Statistical leader averaging 3.5 made per game.

• Sophomore guard Lianna Doty finished fourth on the all-time single-season assists record to conclude the 2012-13 season. Her 151 assists last season left her 82 shy of Dee-Dee Polk's all-time record that was set during the 1983-84 season.

• The Tigers welcome five newcomers to this season's squad; Redshirt senior Tania Jackson (Kansas), redshirt freshman Davionna Holmes (Louisville), freshman Kayla McDowell (Cincinnati, Ohio), freshman Jordan Frericks (Quincy, Ill.), and freshman Sierra Michaelis (Mercer, Mo.).
