This summer we are excited to spotlight some of the folks who contribute to our program off the court. Each Tuesday this summer you will get to meet a special individual who makes a big difference to the Mizzou Women's Basketball Program!

NAME
Larry Larson
POSITION
Event Staff (Supervisor)
WHAT ARE YOUR WOMEN'S BASKETBALL GAMEDAY RESPONSIBILITIES?

Our responsibility as members of the Event Staff is to ensure that everyone attending the game is having the best experience possible and that everything is running smoothly.  My responsibility is to work with staff and management to ensure that we meet our goal of the best experience for our fans.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT WORKING WITH MIZZOU WOMEN'S BASKETBALL?

Experiencing the enjoyment that our Women's games bring to our fans.  Assisting the basketball staff in bringing the best game possible to our fans is a joy that I cannot get enough of.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MIZZOU WOMEN'S BASKETBALL MEMORY?
I really do not get to see that much of any individual game in my position, but I do get to see the emotion of the Seniors' last game at home, the overtime thriller, the close one that got away, tiger paws swag and the many great moments that make a season.  It isn't one memory--it is the compilation of all the highs and lows that make up my favorite memory.
WHEN YOU'RE NOT SUPPORTING MIZZOU WOMEN'S BASKETBALL, HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR FREE TIME?

My wife Hendra and I are both retired so when we are not spending time at MIZZOU we are usually spending time with family and/or traveling, we seem to keep winding up out east somewhere in the Smokies, along the parkway or maybe in Charleston.  If you spend too much time eating or sitting on the beach you need to do a little hiking.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT SEASON?
Making more memories and looking forward to working with everyone.  In particular I look forward to seeing what swag the Tiger Paws will be getting this season as I get to be the "adult" of this wonderful group at the game intros.
