DALLAS -- Missouri's Tracy Franklin was named Big 12 Women's Basketball Player of the Week and Kansas State's Nicole Ohlde was honored as Big 12 Rookie of the Week in a vote of a media panel for games played Feb. 5-11.

Franklin led the Tigers to a come-from-behind victory over Kansas with a career-high 24 points, topping her previous career-high of 18 points against Eastern Illinois earlier in the year. The 5-10 senior guard shot 58 percent from the field, netting 7-of-12 shots in the game, including 5-of-8 from three-point range. Against Kansas State, Franklin scored 15 points while playing 37 minutes without a single turnover. The Mexico, Mo., native has scored in double digits in 10 games, including her only 20-plus point game against Kansas. She is third on the team in scoring with 10.3 points per game and leads the team in three-point field goal percentage, shooting 43 percent (37-of-86) from behind the arc.

Ohlde, a 6-4 freshman forward, led Kansas State in scoring and rebounding last week by averaging 28.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 3.0 steals and 36.5 minutes in two outings. She shot 58.1 (25-of-43) percent from the field and 75.0 (6-of-3) percent from the foul line. Ohlde tallied 28 points, eight rebounds, three steals and an assist against Missouri. She also scored 28 points against No. 9/7 Iowa State, along with 10 rebounds, three steals and two assists to register her fifth double-double of the season and second in Big 12 play. The Clay Center, Kan., native scored in double figures for the 17th and 18th times of the season and produced her sixth and seventh 20-plus point performances and the third and fourth vs. Big 12 foes. Ohlde led K-State for the 12th and 13th times in scoring and for the 15th and 16th times in rebounding while tying the freshman record for field goals in a season (147) against Iowa State.
