Austin, Texas.-- The Missouri Women's Basketball team will face Texas on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. The game will be aired on the Longhorn Network, and fans can listen to David Lile and Michael Porter on KTGR Radio.

LAST TIME OUT
The Missouri Tigers (10-7, 0-6) lost to the Oklahoma State Cowgirls (11-4, 3-3) on Saturday (Jan. 21) in Mizzou Arena by a final score of 62-58. Mizzou received a big boost from leading scorer Christine Flores, who tallied a game-high 20 points. Morgan Eye also contributed with 11 points as the Tigers fell just short of their first Big 12 win of the season. A season high 3,015 fans were in attendance for the contest.

UP NEXT
The Tigers head back to Columbia on Jan. 28 for a double-header with the Men's Basketball team. The Mizzou Women's Basketball is teaming up with the Big 12 Conference and the Special Olympics to end the R-Word. The organizations are looking to `spread the word to end the word.' SCOUTING TEXAS
The Longhorns are facing Missouri after coming off of a 73-67 loss to Oklahoma on Saturday. The team is 8-3 in their home arena and 12-6 overall this season. Three Longhorns are averaging in the double figures in scoring, Chassidy Fussell leads the team with an average of 16.2 points per game. Ashleigh Fontenetter averages 11.4 points per game and the daughter of former Mizzou Head Men's Basketball Coach Mike Anderson, Yvonne Anderson is averaging 10.6 points per game.

SERIES HISTORY WITH TEXAS
The Tigers are 2-20 against the Longhorns with their only victories coming in 2001 (68-52) and in 2011. The Tigers knocked off No. 22 Texas in overtime, 85-80, on Jan. 8 last season. It was the second victory over a ranked opponent last season.

BIG 12 CONFERENCE HISTORY
Missouri is 254-305 in Big Eight/Big 12 series history. The Tigers have winning records over several conference foes including Iowa State, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
