Head Coach Robin Pingeton

Opening statement...
"I was really excited we had the chance to play so many kids so many minutes, and I thought we had a really solid second half. We've still got a lot of work to do, but a lot of positives. We've got a lot of kids that can knock down a lot of shots, but what impresses me most is what an unselfish group this is. You just see the way they cheer for each other on the bench and the way they move the ball offensively. It's a fun group to coach, there's no doubt about it."

On the player rotation...
"It's a good problem to have. We have more depth than we've ever had. On a night like tonight and what we see in practice, those young ladies have a chance to come out and get more than two or three minutes at a time and really get into the flow of it, which obviously helps any player out there on the court. But also they get into practice and have a little more edge to them and a little more confidence to them, and it makes practice that much more competitive, which is a good thing. I feel really good about our roster top to bottom."

On the team scoring...
"I'm just so proud of them. I think someone mentioned to me it's the first time in 25 years we've have back-to-back games of 90-plus points. It's a milestone for our program, it's another step forward. Last year, the offensive end didn't come easy for us. Shots didn't come easy. Points didn't come easy. So to have the versatility that we do on our team, to have the unselfishness, it's only going to help us."

On the play of Bri Kulas...
"I think she just continues to get better and better. The more comfortable she feels out there with our system and her teammates; she's becoming a little more vocal. I do think she has a very high basketball IQ, understands what we need to get done. She's played at a very high level before, coming from Kansas State, so it's not your typical junior college transfer. She understands what we're trying to build here. It's really important to her. She's very passionate about it. She's looking forward to being an important piece to the puzzle as we try to lay this foundation and build this program. We've been very please, certainly, always going to challenge her to get a little bit more. She's certainly having a great season for us."

On the play of Kyley Simmons...
"What Kyley does for us just absolutely does not show up in the stat line. It doesn't show up in the box score. She's such an important piece of the puzzle for us. Her focus, her drive her toughness, I just can't say enough about her."

Junior Bri Kulas

On what she's been doing right...
"I think it partly goes on my teammates too. They just get me open so I just finish. I think that's about all I've been doing."

On transfer expectations...
"I didn't really expect anything, honestly. I just came here with an open mind and I work hard."

Sophomore Morgan Eye

On Bri Kulas...
"Her voice is quiet, but she does talk a little bit more. She's doing awesome for us. She's so much fun to play with and she has a voice out there on the court. Maybe more when we're in huddles and stuff, but she has a lot of great things to say and just very useful advice out there on the court and she's a really good leader."

On continuing to hit threes despite opponents having the scouting report on her...
"I continue to talk with the coaches about different ways of getting myself open, coming off screens a little bit differently. A lot of it is my teammates driving to the hole, drawing attention and I'm able to fill up to the open spot and I only need a few seconds to get it off, or not even a second I guess, but just a little bit of space to get it off. My teammates do a great job of getting me open."
