Stillwater, Okla.- Christine Flores grabbed 16 rebounds against the Cowgirls to tie her career-high in the Tigers' loss to Oklahoma State (15-11, 8-10) on Mar. 3. The Tigers will finish the regular season 12-17 overall and 2-16 in conference play.

Off to a slow start, both teams fought to find a rhythm on the floor. With 7:42 remaining in the first half three Mizzou players had recorded points, led by senior BreAnna Brock who tallied five. Both teams were shooting under 28 percent from the floor and the Tigers trailed the Cowgirls 14-10. Sparked by a three-pointer from Liene Priede, Mizzou picked up the pace and added four more players to the scoring column. Kyley Simmons capped off the half with a spectacular three-pointer from mid-court to tie the score at 29. Overall, the Tigers shot 50 percent from behind the arc in the first half to OSU's 40 percent.

Oklahoma State took the lead right away in the second half, starting out on a 16-0 run. Junior Liz Smith sunk a layup with just under 13 minutes left to start chipping away at the Cowgirls' lead. Both Brock and Flores put up six points in the half, but it wasn't enough to come out ahead. The Tigers fell 68-47 in the regular season finale.

Up next, the Tigers will appear in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament. Mizzou will face the No. 7 seed on Wednesday, Mar. 7 at 7:30 p.m. Keep checking MUTigers.com for the latest updates on Mizzou Women's Basketball.
