Missouri Head Coach Cindy Stein
On Missouri's bench production:
"When you get bench play it takes the pressure off the starters. I was pleased with our bench production today."
On Jessra Johnson's contribution off the bench:
"I think Jessra's been working hard on defense and her points were very significant today."
On EeTisha Riddle's second half after picking up three fouls:
"I thought she (Riddle) came up big today."
"I did like the way we played. It was hard. I would credit the defense this afternoon."
On if this got the four-game losing streak monkey off their back:
"I think we have the arm of the monkey off us. We've got another arm and a couple legs to go, but we take it one game at a time."
On the play of her three point guards:
"I think we're getting better at the point guard position."
Senior Guard Blair Hardiek
"Tonight was a total team effort. I thought it (the game) showed our efforts during this past week of practice."
"It's important to just play within yourself."
Freshman Forward Jessra Johnson
"I just tried to get in there and make something happen since Tish was in foul trouble. With our leading scorer on the bench someone's got to step up."
Senior Center EeTisha Riddle
"That's what I tried to do. Get to the rim and finish."
"This past week we worked so hard."
"Everyone is on this team for a reason. Everyone can shoot and everyone can score. Sometimes it's nice to be able to sit and watch."
"(The win) has given us motivation as we are about to go out on the road."
Colorado Head Coach Kathy McConnell-Miller
"I thought it was a tough loss. I thought we played well with a few exceptions. I've got to credit Mizzou in those last five minutes."
On finishing up their stretch where four of five games have been on the road:
"I talked to Coach Barry before this and she said this is as tough a stretch as Colorado has had to endure."
"I saw the Colorado team I know in the first half and I can tell you we will bounce back."
On the play of Missouri's Jessra Johnson:
"I like her (Jessra Johnson). She's got a big body. That Johnson did a nice job."
