Doshia Woods enters her second season as an assistant coach at Missouri. In her duties, Woods will serve as the program's recruiting coordinator while working with the guards in skill development and assist with scouting and day-to-day operations of the Tiger program.

"We are very excited to have such an outstanding young woman join our staff at Mizzou," Stein said. "Doshia is extremely personable and charismatic, which makes her such a great recruiter and coach. She has been in outstanding programs both as a player and as a coach. Doshia will share that knowledge and expertise with us to make our program even better."

Woods spent the past three seasons as an assistant at Oregon State, where she worked with recruiting and the team's guards. In Woods' first season with the Beavers, Oregon State won 10 more games than the previous season and earned a bid to the WNIT. Woods' work with the guards stood out as well, as Mercedes Fox-Griffin dished out 180 assists in 2006-07 for the second highest single-season mark in Beaver history and rank eighth nationally in assists per game.

Prior to Oregon State, Woods spent one season at New Mexico State working primarily with recruiting, player development and academics after three seasons on the bench of her alma mater, Western Illinois. The Westerwinds earned two Mid-Continent Conference (now Summit League) regular season titles in Woods' tenure at Western Illinois and posted a 42-18 record her final two years with the program.

Woods began her college career at Barton County (Kan.) Community College before transferring to Western Illinois for her junior and senior seasons. She averaged 8.8 ppg. in 57 games with the Westerwinds and still holds the single-season 3-point field goal record with 62. Woods also sits third in career 3-point field goals with 102 despite playing only two seasons at Western Illinois. She was named to the Mid-Continent second team as a senior in 2000-01.

A native of Topeka, Kan., Woods earned with a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in psychology from Western Illinois in 2001 and an associate's degree from Barton County Community College in 1999.
