Mizzou won 9 of 10 matches in their 39-3 win against Northern Illinois.
2011-12: Jauch, using his redshirt, earned 11 wins in his first collegiate season. He wrestled in five open tournaments, with his best performance coming at the Roger Denker Open, claiming a sixth place finish. He won three of his four matches by fall and scored a major decision for his other victory at the tournament. On the season, Jauch won six of his 11 matches by fall, with the fastest coming in 1:04. Along with the major decision, he also picked up a technical fall win at the Kaufman-Brand Open, giving him eight bonus point victories on the year.
High School: A three-time state champion, Jauch lost just five matches over the last three years of his career at Crystal Lake Central. His first state title came at 112 pounds as a sophomore, finishing his year at 43-2. As a junior, where he finished third nationally, he went 44-1 at 125 pounds on his way to a second straight title, and capped off the three-peat at 140 pounds as a senior, finishing the year 45-2. Crystal Lake Central finished third during his sophomore year, and runner-up each of his last two seasons. In freestyle, Jauch finished first in state as a sophomore and third at Fargo Nationals as a junior. The All-American's career high school record is 169-11. Jauch was also on his school's honor roll. He chose Mizzou over Northern Iowa, Iowa State, Virginia Tech and Maryland.
Personal: Trevor was born to Brian and Stacy Jauch on June 24, 1993 in Hoffman Estates, Ill. He has three siblings: a brother, Ryan (21), and two sisters, Amber (22) and Erin (17). His brother, Ryan, is a member of Northern Iowa's wrestling squad. He is considering majoring in education.
