Houdashelt, Cox and two freshmen won their opening bouts Thursday morning at the 2014 NCAAs

At Iowa State: England transfers to Mizzou with a 32-20 career record in two seasons with the Cyclones. As a sophomore, England was 16-9 in competition and was crowned champion of the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open at 174 pounds.

As a redshirt freshman, England finished the season with 16-11 record for the Cyclones after posting his first-career dual meet victory with a 4-3 decision over Hunter Meys of Boston University. England won the UNI Open title and finished second at the Harold Nichols/Cyclone Open hosted by his former school. He also took eighth-place in the 174 pound division at the Midlands Championships. England finished the season with a dual record of 5-7.

He redshirted during the 2010-11 season.

High School: A four-time Iowa state 2A placewinner, England posted a 174-26 career record at Centerville High. He finished with a record of 53-1 en route to the state title at 171 pounds during his senior season.

Personal: Mikey was born on June 25, 1991, to Mike and Tracy England and Steve and Kathy Cochran. He intends on majoring in Business.
