• Compiled a 33-11 overall record, including an 8-4 dual record (4-1 MAC competitions).
• His 33 wins marked a new career high in single season victories.
• Won his first career conference championship after going 3-0 at 2015 MAC Championships.
• His MAC Championships clinching win came against No. 9 Blaize Cabell (Northern Iowa), one-of-three wins over nationally ranked opponents this season.
• Qualified for NCAA Championships for third time in his career after earning automatic bid from 2015 MAC Championships title.
• Finished his Tiger Style career with 99 career victories. Suffered only 39 losses along the way, ending with a .717 career winning percentage.
• Recorded 20+ wins in three separate seasons during his career, fell one win shy of 20 during his redshirt freshman season (2011-12).
• Took home two event wins during 2014-15 season (2014 Harold Nichols Cyclone Open & 2014 UNI Open), capping off his black and gold career with six event titles.
• Placed in three additional tournaments over the course of the season (4th place at 2014 UCM Open, 2nd place at 2014 Joe Parisi Open, and 4th place at 2015 Southern Scuffle).
• Defeated three nationally ranked opponents, including No. 9 Cabell, and Riley Shaw (Cleveland State - No. 16/19) twice.

• Held the heavyweight spot on the starting lineup, going 24-12 overall and making his second appearance at the NCAA National Championships.
• Finished in second, third and fifth place at the Warren Williams/Daktronics, Joe Parisi and UNI Opens, respectively, picking up 11 wins between the three tournaments.
• Went 9-3 in dual competition, including a ranked win over No. 15 Ross Larson (Oklahoma).
• Represented Missouri at the 2014 MAC Championships, taking second place overall after falling to No. 11 Jeremy Johnson (Ohio) in the finals. The second-place finish gave him an automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA National Championships.
• Finished with three major decision wins and two wins by fall.

• Competed in five tournaments for the Tigers, as well as competing in one dual in place of Dom Bradley.
• Finished in first place at both the UCM and Kaufman-Brand Opens, picking up 10 wins between the two including one technical fall, one pin and one major decision.
• Took a third-place finish at the Joe Parisi Open, his only loss coming against Austin Marsden (Oklahoma St.) in the first tie-breaker period.
• Recorded another first-place finish for Mellon came at the Roger Denker Open.
• Mellon finished the season with a record of 21-4.

• Took a place on the starting lineup for the Tigers while Dom Bradley took his Olympic redshirt.
• Picked up his first dual win over Oklahoma's Elijah Madison in sudden victory (2), 6-4.
• Finished in fourth place at the Kaufman-Brand Open after defeating five other wrestlers.
• His first ranked win came over No. 15 Brendan Barlow (Kent State). Had another ranked win on the season against No. 10 Ben Apland (Michigan).
• Represented Missouri at the 2012 Big 12 Championships, where he finished in fourth place.
• A wildcard bid landed him his first appearance at the NCAA Nationals.
• Mellon finished the season with 19 wins, including three major decisions, one pin and one technical fall.
FRESHMAN (2010-11)

• In his redshirt season as a heavyweight, Mellon competed in five open tournaments as an unattached wrestler, claiming titles in two.
• Picked up his first collegiate win at the UCM Open against Mo. Valley's Michael Johnson.
• Won all five of his matches at the Kaufman/Brand Open for his first collegiate title.
• Finished in second place at the Roger Denker Open, losing a 2-1 decision in the finals to Missouri's Jake Glore.
• Took first place at the MVC Open, drawing his season to a close with an overall record of 14-5.

• Finished in second place at state his freshman season, but took the state title his remaining three seasons as a Cardinal.
• Had a perfect 43-0 season his senior year.
• Was named District Wrestler of the Year in 2010.
• Was a four-sport athlete and was awarded a total of 10 letters throughout his four years of high school: four for wrestling, three for football, two for baseball, and one for track.
• Graduated as a member of the Honor Roll.

• Devin Mellon was born in Lawson, Mo., to parents Danny and Susan Mellon on March 30, 1992.
• Has an older sister, Sheena Sullard, and an older brother, Dustin Sullard.
