High School: A member of the Brookfield Bulldogs, Lindsay lost just two matches during his last two years of high school, going 50-1 at 145 as a junior - finishing second in state - before going 36-1 at 152 pounds with a state title during his senior year. His high school squad finished second at state during his first three years before capturing the championship during his last year. Lindsay was an NHSCA All-American for his efforts, and earned eight letters over the course of his career - four with the wrestling team and four in football.
Personal: Gary was born on March 27, 1993 to parents Jerry and Ronda Lindsay. He is the youngest of four siblings, as he has two older brothers, Josh (25) and Austin (20) and an older sister, Shelby (21). His brother, Austin, is currently a redshirt freshman on the Missouri wrestling squad. He is majoring in business.
