OUTLOOK: Coming off of a second semester injury, Tim Kephart will again compete at 125 pounds for the Tigers but not until December.
"The coaching staff and Tim talked throughout the spring and summer months about what his plan should be for the upcoming season," Head Coach Brian Smith said. "This could really be a breakout year for Tim."

Filling in for an injured Austin DeVoe, Kephart posted a 5-7 dual record and participated in his first Big 12 Championships March 5. Unable to overcome the strong competition, Kephart fell to No.12 Grant Nakamura of Iowa State and No. 7 Matt Keller of Nebraska. In tournament action, Kephart finished as high as third at the Oklahoma Open (Nov. 27) and at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) Open (Dec. 5) and sixth at the Missouri Open (Nov. 21).
2003-04: On his way to a 16-6 record, Kephart recorded six straight wins, opening with a technical fall (5:22) followed by three consecutive falls, a major decision and two decisions.
