Outdoor: All-Big 12 in the steeplechase with a sixth-place finish and personal-best time (9:11.69). Indoor: Won the 3000m (8:58.56) at the All-Comers Meet.
AS A SOPHOMORE:

Outdoor: Took second at the Missouri Invitational (9:29.30), a third place finish at the Missouri Relays (9:41.96) and a third place finish at the Tom Botts (9:40.24) in the steeplechase ... ran sesaon best 9:21.57 at the Big 12 Championship. Indoor: Took first place at the Tiger Invitational in the 3000m (8:39.40) ... also ran in the mile.
