AS A JUNIOR:
Outdoor: All-American in the hammer throw, placing ninth with his mark of 206-3 ... also an NCAA qualifier in the shot put and discus ... All-Big 12 in the shot put, discus and hammer ... Drake Relays Champion in the college discus and college shot put, the 13th athlete to win both those events in the Drake Relays' 93-year history. Indoor: All-American in the weight throw, a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships with his personal best throw (71-3.25) ... All-Big 12 in both the weight throw and the shot put.
AS A SOPHOMORE:
Indoor: Finished third in the weight throw (66-4) and fourth in the shot put (58-6) at the Big 12 Championships ... made NCAA provisional marks in both the shot put and the weight throw. Outdoor: All-American in the discus with a 182-7 mark at the NCAA Championships ... at the Big 12 Championships, Bell was runner-up in both the shot put (61-7) and the hammer throw (189-8), and he placed fourth in the discus with his personal best mark (192-8) to finish with second highest point total (21 points) at the meet ... set school record in the hammer with his 202-8 mark at Mt. SAC.
AS A FRESHMAN:
Indoor: Best mark in the shot was a 54-10.25 at the Meyo Invitational ... also at the Meyo Invite, Bell had a 60-11.25 mark in the weight throw. Outdoor: At the Big 12 Championships, he placed sixth in the shot (56-4.5) and seventh in the hammer (183-2) ... threw NCAA provisional qualifying mark twice in the discus, 189-10 at the Florida Relays and 185-11 at the Missouri Invite ... second Mizzou freshman to throw over 56 feet in the shot put and he did it three times.
