Tigers Travel to No. 10 Georgia

COLUMBIA, Mo . - The Mizzou men's swimming and diving team returns to the pool on Friday, Nov. 9 as the Tigers travel to Athens, Ga., for a 3 p.m. ET (2 p.m. CT) clash with No. 10 Georgia. The Tigers and Bulldogs will compete at Gabrielsen Natatorium inside the Ramsey Center.

Mizzou (3-0, 1-0 SEC) is coming off wins over Kentucky and SIU on Friday, Oct. 26 at the Mizzou Aquatic Center. The Tigers defeated Kentucky 205-93 to earn their first-ever SEC victory, while the team posted a 229-67 win over SIU. Against the Wildcats and Salukis, junior David Bonuchi, and sophomores Mack Darragh, Eegan Groome and Sam Tierney all claimed two event titles. Bonuchi took home both the one and three-meter dives, Darragh won the 200 fly and 200 IM, Groome claimed the 200 free and 500 free and Tierney was victorious in the 100 back and 200 breast.

Georgia enters the meet 1-1 overall and 0-1 in SEC action. The Bulldogs are coming off a 192-104 loss to Florida on Oct. 25, where Nic Fink (100 breast) and Martin Grodzki (1000 free) picked up event wins.

Following the dual with Georgia, the Tigers are idle until they host the Mizzou Invite Nov. 29 - Dec. 1 at the Mizzou Aquatic Center.
