Columbia, Mo. - The No. 14 ranked Missouri Men's swimming and diving team fell to Minnesota Gophers in a Saturday afternoon dual meet by a score of 183-115. Despite the loss, the men's team continued to build on their record of success while simultaneously celebrating their seniors on Senior Day.

In the 200 yard medley relay, the team of Ryan Sellers, Igor Kozlovskij, Neil O'Halloran, and Ramom Melo placed first in a speedy 1:30.60.

Freshman Neil O'Halloran took the third place spot in the 200 and butterfly, finishing in 1:50.30, and placed second in the 100 yard butterfly in 48.77. Mizzou's John Krause placed third in the 100 yard butterfly in 51.70. Tigers swept the 100 yard backstroke event with Ryan Sellers finished first in 50.93. Adam Abernathy and Joe Hladik tied for second, both notching a time of 51.80.

Kozlovskij saw success in two breaststroke events, finishing second in both. In the 100 yard breaststroke he recorded a time of 56.03 for second and in the 200 yard breaststroke he finished in 2:02.97 for second again.

The Missouri men's team had two swimmers finish in the top three in the 200 yard IM. Yaniv Shnaider placed first with a time of 1:52.08 and Kozlovskij taking second in 1:52.42. In the final event of the afternoon, the 400 yard freestyle relay, two Missouri relay teams placed in the top three. The team of O'Halloran, Hladikm Krause, and Melo finished second in 3:04.79, while the team of Sam Tierney, Sellers, Stephen Sobczak, and Adam Abernathy placed third in 3:11.10.

Diver David Bonuchi took the first place spot in both of the men's diving events of the afternoon. His first place finish in the 1 mtr diving event was with 371.25 points, and his first place finish in the 3 mtr diving event was with 388.50 points.
