Tiger Swimmers Set to Participate at Arena Grand Prix

Four current Mizzou swimmers, as well as one incoming Tiger and one former swimmer are set to compete in the 2014 Grand Prix in Santa Clara, Calif.

CAREER HONORS

• 2014 First Team All-American (200 medley relay; 400 medley relay)
• 2013 First Team All-American (100 breast)
• 2013 Honorable Mention All-American (200 breast; 200 medley relay)
2013-14 (JUNIOR)

• Stands as the most decorated male swimmer in program history with three first team and four honorable mention honors in his career
• Earned two first team and two honorable mention All-America honors at the 2014 NCAA Championships
• Earned finishes of fifth in the 100 breast and eighth in the 200 breast at the Championships
• Also placed 26th in the 200 IM at the meet
• Part of Missouri's ninth-place 200 medley relay and 12th-place 400 medley relay at NCAAs
• Mizzou's record holder in the 100 breast (52.07), 200 breast (1:53.42) and 200 IM (1:44.72) • Also ranks second in the 100 back (46.98) and sith in the 200 back (1:46.03)
• At the SEC Championships, took fifth in the 100 breast, ninth in the 200 breast and 14th in the 200 IM • Won a team high 17 event titles in 2013-14, including eight in the 200 breast, five in the 100 breast, three in the 100 back and one in the 200 IM
2012-13 (SOPHOMORE)

• Became only the second Mizzou male swimmer to earn first team All-America honors
• Also earned two All-America honorable mention honors at the NCAA Championships
• Placed seventh in the 100 breast and 10th in the 200 breast at NCAAs
• Was also a part of Mizzou's 11th-place 200 medley relay team at the NCAA Championships
• At the SEC Championships, took fourth in the 200 breast and seventh in the 100 breast
• Won the 100 back and 200 breast at Georgia
• Also placed first in the 200 breast and second in the 200 IM against Drury
• Took second in the 100 back and third in the 200 IM at the Show-Me Showdown
2011-12 (FRESHMAN)

• At the Big 12 Championships, placed fifth in the 100 breast (54.85) and 200 breast (1:58.92)
• Against Northwestern and Denver, claimed second in the 200 breast (2:01.88)
• Took third in the 100 breast (55.09) and 200 breast (1:59.04) at the Mizzou Invite
• Had another third-place finish against Minnesota in the 200 breast (2:04.50)
• Placed fourth in the 200 breast (2:07.03) against Kentucy and SIU
PRIOR TO MIZZOU

Plano West:
• Placed fourth in the 100 breast and seventh in the 50 free at the 2011 Class 5A State Championships
• Helped Plano West claim the 2011 district title as he finished first in the 50 free and 100 back
• Started swimming competitively when he was 16 years old
