2009-10 (FRESHMAN) - Performed well as a freshman in the Big 12 Championships... Earned his way into the consolation bracket of the 200 back championship (1:50.68)... Placed fifth in the 200 fly (1:51.47)... Also won the consolation heat for the 100 back (50.15)... was a member of the 800 free relay team that placed third and secured the second-best time in Missouri history (6:33.79)...
HIGH SCHOOL - Has been swimming competitively for 10 years...holds Wichita Swim Club records in the 100 back stroke and 200 back stroke...competed in Junior Naionals in 2007-2009...competed in Short Course Nationals in 2008...attended Valley Center High School.
PERSONAL - Ryan Sellers is the son of Mark and Shannon Sellers...has three siblings, Justin (23), Cameron (21) and Krista (15)...Justin is a former MU swimmer and Cameron is currently on the MU swim team...major is undecided.
