Andy Grevers enters his second season as an assistant swimming and diving coach at the University of Missouri.
Grevers brings a strong collegiate and club coaching background to Columbia. He served three years as a volunteer assistant at Northwestern, where he worked with national champions Mike Alexandrov, Kyle Bubolz, Bruno Barbie and his brother, 2008 U.S. Olympian Matt Grevers. He also led Northwestern's Wildcat Aquatics Club program, which produced three national records and 27 state records under his watch.
Grevers is the co-creator of Northern Illinois University's club swimming program and served as captain of the team during his time in DeKalb. He swam as a prep for Lake Forest High School where he was a state finalist and team captain.
The Illinois native actually began his coaching career for the Lake Forest Club team when he was just 15-years old. His sister, Carolyn, is the head coach at Lake Forest High School, while his mother, Anja, is a well-respective swimming coach in the Chicagoland area.
