Mizzou Men's Golf Signs Emilio Cuartero

The No. 1 ranked Amateur golfer in Spain, Emilio Cuartero has singed a National Letter of Intent with the Missouri men's golf team, as announced by Head Coach Mark Leroux. He will join the Tigers in the fall of 2010.

Cuartero is the second youngest player to win the British Boys Championship. He finished third in the European Boys Team Championship and was a two-time winner of the Jacques Leglise Trophy, awarded by the European Golf Association.

He is currently the No. 237 ranked amateur in the world. He also teamed with Hugo Menedez to win the Spain Doubles Championship.
