Mizzou Golf begins postseason play with a trip to Sea Island, Ga., where it will participate in the 2014 SEC Golf Championship (April 25-27).

The Sea Island Golf Club, located on St. Simon's Island, will once again host the SEC Championship. The teams will compete on the par 70, 6,898-yard Seaside Course for the fifth consecutive year.

The SEC Championship is loaded with some of the top collegiate golf talent in the country and is arguably one of the premier postseason tournaments in the nation. Ranked No. 54 nationally, Missouri will be facing seven SEC teams currently ranked in's Top 25.

No. 1 Alabama has dominated Division I golf all season and is the two-time defending champion of the SEC Championship. Other SEC teams ranked in the Top 25 are No. 6 Georgia, No. 16 Vanderbilt, No. 17 Texas A&M, No. 21 Arkansas, No. 22 LSU and No. 24 South Carolina.

Missouri had an impressive showing in its first SEC Championship appearance last season. The Tigers tied for seventh with Vanderbilt, beating a slew of nationally-ranked SEC teams. Hunter Kraus led the Tigers at last year's tournament, finishing in a tie for 15th.

Kraus will return to the SEC Championship lineup this weekend. The senior captain will look to compete at the level he did last year and lead the Tigers to an NCAA Regional Tournament bid.

Also making his second SEC Championship appearance is Emilio Cuartero. The Lledia, Spain, native tied for 31st last year and has put together an impressive senior campaign. Cuartero is the only Tiger golfer shooting an under-par average for the season and has eight finishes in the Top 25.

Ryan Zech is the final returning SEC Championship shooter for Mizzou. The junior played well at last year's tournament, finishing just behind Kraus in a tie for 23rd.

Euan Walker will be making his first career championship appearance. The freshman has been playing very well as of late, tying for 11th at The Hootie at Bulls Bay and 17th at the Robert Kepler Invitational.

Wilson Sundvold rounds out the Tiger lineup. The redshirt sophomore has two Top 10 finishes on the season, both ties for seventh at the Turning Stone Tournament and Bandon Dunes Championship.

SEC Championship action begins at 6:30 a.m. C.T. with the Tigers teeing off at 8 a.m. CT.
