The Mizzou men's golf team will host the 2nd Annual UMB Bank-Mizzou Tiger Intercollegiate Classic next week at The Club at Old Hawthorne. The two-day, 54-hole event will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday. The first two rounds will be played on day one, with the final round scheduled to start at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
Fourteen teams from around the nation will join the Tigers in the field, as a total of 75 golfers will participate.
The Club at Old Hawthorne opened in the spring of 2007 and has been the home of the Mizzou men's and women's golf programs for the past two years.
Indiana won the Inaugural UMB Bank-Mizzou Tigers Intercollegiate last spring with a three-round total of 881, while the Hoosiers' Jorge Campillo won the individual competition.
Spectators are invited to attend the UMB-Mizzou Tigers Intercollegiate free of charge.
