The Mizzou Men's Golf team moved up a spot to finish ninth at the Landfall Tradition after a final round 299 on Sunday at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C. The 299 was the best round of the weekend for the Tigers.
Three Tiger seniors turned in the best rounds of the day for MU and were the top three finishers individually. Senior John Kelly shot an even-par 72 on Sunday and finished in a tie for 31st place with a three-round total of 233.
Senior Shawn Jasper was Missouri's highest finisher, placing in a tie for 25th place after a 74 in the final round gave him a 54-hole score of 231. Fellow senior Trent Twaddle tied Kelly for 31st place with a 233 total after a 75 on Sunday.
Redshirt freshman Bud Reynolds and sophomore Peter Malnati finished among those tied for 43rd place with three-round totals of 237.
Mizzou has concluded its fall schedule and will next be in action at the Rio Pinar Intercollegiate on Feb. 19-20 in Orlando, Fla.
