The Missouri men's golf team is in a tie for sixth place heading into Sunday's final round of the Bank of Tennessee East Tennessee Intercollegiate. The Tigers followed an opening round 295 on Friday with a 293 score in Saturday's second round. MU's 36-hole score of 588 is tied with Vanderbilt for the sixth spot.
Wake Forest leads the event after two rounds with a 576 total.
Mizzou senior Peter Malnati is among a large group tied for eighth place with a two-round total of 144. Malnati carded a 71 on Saturday, after an opening round 73. He is just four shots behind the leader, Darren Blair of North Carolina State.
Senior Ryne Fisher is tied for 24th place with a 147 score after two rounds. Sophomore Will Hogan has a 36-hole score of 149 and is in a tie for 37th spot.
A two-round total of 154 has sophomore Will Harrold and freshman Chris Johnson tied for 58th place.
The final round will be played on Sunday.
