Men's Golf shot their lowest round score by 11 strokes Sunday to finish 8th at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate. The Tigers (+2) shot 8-under-par on the day and advanced three places in the standings.

It was a tight race for the top three finishers in the tournament. All three teams shot within one stroke of the competitor ahead of them. Virginia (-22) pulled off the win and Virginia Tech (-21) finished in second. Kent State (-20) fell from yesterday's first place standing to finish in third.

Emilio Cuartero (-3) was the top finisher for Mizzou as he tied for 14th. The senior dropped strokes each round and has finished inside the Top 25 in every tournament this season.

He previously shot a 67 at the Columbia Regional Preview in September. Kraus' finish in a tie for 18th is his first Top 20 finish on the season as well as the first time he has finished below par.
