FINAL RESULTS
COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri men's golf team concluded play in the UMB Bank-Mizzou Tiger Intercollegiate in seventh place after a final round 303 gave it a final 54-hole total of 897. The tournament, hosted by Mizzou, was played at The Club at Old Hawthorne.
Kansas State took the team title with a three-round total of 874, finishing two shots ahead of UT-Arlington.
Kelly Kraft of SMU defeated Sebastian MacLean of Xavier on the second playoff hole to claim the individual medalist honors.
Mizzou seniors Peter Malnati and Ryne Fisher finished among a group tied for 14th place with 54-hole scores of 222. Malnati was one of three Tigers to card rounds of 75 on Tuesday. Fisher shot a final round 78.
Sophomore William Harrold finished tied for 32nd place with a 227 score after a 75 in the final round. Sophomore Chris Johnson also turned in a 75 on Tuesday and finished in a tie for 52nd place with a three-round score of 234. Sophomore Will Hogan tied for 54th place with a 235 score. He shot an 81 on Tuesday.
MU sophomore Tyler Hillis competed as an individual and finished in a tie for 23rd place with a three-round total of 225. He carded a 77 in Tuesday's final round.
The Tigers will next compete in the Big 12 Championship April 27-29 in Hutchinson, Kan.
