Williamsburg, Va. - The Tigers earned their first tournament title this season after scoring 282-294-294--870 through three rounds at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate. The score marks a 54-hole tournament scoring record as well. The Tigers finished 18-over-par, which was two strokes ahead of UNCG and Old Dominion who tied for second place. Francis Marion (+28) and Radford (+30) rounded out the top five teams. Winthrop's Kamito Hirai took first in the tournament finishing 2-under-par, while Jace Long tied with Sebastian Backlund of Francis Marion to take second place.

Long shot even par at the tournament, going 63-73-73--213 overall. Emilio Cuartero earned a fourth place finish, closing the final round with a total score of 2-over-par as he shot 66-74-75--215 in the tournament. Freshman Ryan Zech finished just one stroke behind Cuartero to tie for 5th place. Zech had his best showing in the third round as he recorded four birdies to shoot even par.

Nick Wilson finished the tournament 13-over-par to tie for 53rd place, and Wilson Sundvold closed the tournament 22-over-par.
