Mizzou Finishes 13th in South Florida

Final Results

DADE CITY, Fla. - The Missouri men's golf team finished in 13th place at the USF Invitational in Dade City, Fla. with a three-round total of 876. The Tigers shot a final round 296 on Sunday.

Senior Peter Malnait turned in the best round of the day for Mizzou with a one-under-par 71. He birdied his first hole of the day and at one point stood at three-under-par. Malnati had a pair of 73s to open the tournament and finished in a tie for 22nd place with a 54-hole score of 217.

Malnati's 217 was one shot behind fellow senior Ryne Fisher, who was the highest placing Tiger in the tournament. Fisher carded a 74 on Sunday and finished in a tie for 18th place with a 216 total.

Sophomore Will Hogan tied for 34th place with a 218 total (72-72-74), while sophomore William Harrold tied for 83rd spot with a 226 score. Sophomore Tyler Hillis had a three-round total of 235.

The Tigers finished two shots behind 12th place Jacksonville State and were four shots out of a tie for 10th spot.

Next up for Missouri is the Spring Break Championship, which will be played March 27-29 in Del Ray Beach, Fla.

Tigers Finish Eighth in Tennessee

Mizzou finished in eighth place at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at The Ridges after shooting a final round 300 on Sunday. The Tigers finished with a three-round total of 876, finishing one shot behind seventh-place Wake Forest and two behind sixth-place East Tennessee.

The Mizzou men's golf team stands in fourth place at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at The Ridges. After carding a 287 in Friday's opening round, the Tigers shot a round of 289 on Saturday for a two-round total of 576.

Tigers Take Eighth in South Bend

Mizzou finished in eighth place at the Fighting Irish Gridiron Classic this week at the Warren Golf Course in South Bend, Ind. The Tigers had a three-round total of 886, finishing one shot out of a tie for sixth place and just three shots behind fourth place.

Mizzou Takes Second in Kansas

The Mizzou men's golf carded a final round score of 299 and finished in a tie for second place at the Kansas Invitational with a three-round score of 888. It is the second top-two finish for the Tigers in three tournaments this season. They won the season-opening Turning Stone Intercollegiate.
