Jace Long continued his spectacular senior season, tying for medalist honors and leading Missouri Golf to victory at the 2013 Washington State Snowman Getaway on Tuesday in Goodyear, Ariz.
The victory was the fourth of the year for Long, who also claimed wins during the fall at the Turning Stone Intercollegiate, Golfweek Conference Challenge and the Patriot Intercollegiate.
Long finished tied atop the leaderboard with Washington State's Michael Anderson, who was 1-over-par on Tuesday. A native of Dixon, Mo., Long finished the event with a 2-under-par 70, playing his final eight holes 3-under-par to force the tie.
As a team the Tigers claimed victory by seven shots over the host Cougars. Missouri had four players finish among the Top 25, including Emilio Cuartero, who carded a 6-under-par 66 in the finale to finish third.
Ryan Zech registered his second Top 10 of the year shooting rounds of 72-67-76 to finish 10th and Jacob Fair finished 25th overall with rounds of 71-72-76.
Brad Moody was 74th overall and Hunter Kraus played as an individual for Head Coach Mark Leroux's team and was 21st overall with rounds of 70-71-77.
The Tigers return to action March 11-12 at the San Diego Classic in Chula Vista, Calif.
