Second Round Results Get Acrobat Reader

Mizzou Men's Golf moved up one spot into eighth place after two rounds of competition at the Puerto Rico Classic. The Tigers (+2) shot 2-under-par in Monday's second round and are just one stroke behind No. 10 Oklahoma in the team standings.

No. 1 Alabama (-31) still leads the pack in Rio Grande, P.R., while No. 3 Georgia Tech (-21) and No. 7 Georgia (-17) round out the top three.

Wilson Sundvold remained the top shooter for the Tigers on Monday. The redshirt sophomore (-3) is having his best tournament outing since the season-opening Turning Stone Tournament and is tied for 13th after 36 holes of play.

Hunter Kraus (E) continued his strong play on Monday. The senior is in a four-way tie for 27th. Freshman Euan Walker (+2) improved in the standings, as he dropped four strokes off his first round score. The native of Scotland moved from 56th place into a tie for 35th.

Emilio Cuartero (+4) and Linus Lilliedahl (+4) finished the second round tied for 46th with four other competitors. Both players moved up in the standings at the conclusion of the second round.

Individual competitor, Ryan Zech, shot a 72 in his round on the Ocean Course today. Zech is now one stroke behind the leader and will be looking to claim the individual tournament title Tuesday.

The 2014 Puerto Rico Classic concludes Tuesday. The final 18 holes begin at 6 a.m. CT with a shotgun start. Live scoring of the final round can be found at www.golfstat.com.
