I never met Aaron, but he was a member of the Tiger family, so he was a member of my extended family. He sounded like the kind of son any parent would be proud to have raised. As a parent of two sons, I can only begin to imagine the loss you have experienced. Aaron and you are in the prayers of all members of the Tiger nation. Thank you for sharing him with us, although the time was far too brief. May God bless him and you.

    Kelly Dude

I am sorry for your loss. I hope that you and your family and friends can feel the arms of God wrapped around all of you and know that He is keeping you in His love and care!

Please know how sad all Mizzou fans are for your loss. Please know all of you and in our prayers and thoughts. Please take care --

    Cheryl Floyd

To all of Aaron's family, I hope you know just how many people are praying for you during this time. Aaron was a friend of mine from North, and one of the most amazing people I've ever known. I thank you all for raising him to be such a wonderful person. As Blake said at the candelight vigil, there just aren't enough Aaron O'Neals out there. At Aaron's wake, funeral, and candlelight vigil, I couldn't help but feel both amazed and saddened at how many people were there, and how many people were deeply struggling with his death. In only 19 years, Aaron had touched so many lives. I know that as I've been mourning his death, I've kept these words in mind, which someone gave to me when a family member passed away. I hope that they might be of some comfort to you:
"You, in your love that was my pride, remember I lived and not that I died."

I know that all of Aaron's friends at Parkway North are trying to remember his life-- the good times we've shared and the wonderful person that he was-- because I know that Aaron would have wanted to be remembered that way.
I know that I will never forget Aaron. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

    Lisa Wedel, PNH c/o '03

Hi, I am about to be a freshman at Mizzou. I am doing a summer program right now and I never new Aaron personally but I used to see him around a lot. A lot of my friends knew him, and I could tell that he was a very sweet person. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all, but I know that he is in a better place, and GOD is taking really good care of him. I also know that this doesn't ease the pain but it may be a little easier to remember all the good times you all had with him.

Aaron, We at Mizzou will always miss and love you.

Thank you for being such special parents, to have such a special son. I look forward to the day when your pain is replaced with joy for the knowlege that your son's early departure ministered to those in need of salvation. May God grant you His unspeakable peace.

I never knew Aaron, but I felt compelled to write and tell you that my heart goes out to your entire family. It's so sad to hear about the death of such a young man with a promising future.

    Kelly Phillips

This note is written with the utmost sympathy to the family of Aaron O'Neal. I am certainly not capable of being able to adequately feel the anquish shared by your family, but as a parent (one of which a Parkway North graduate), I do grieve for you, and with you.

Although my son was a few years older, and did not personally know Aaron, from everything I have heard and read, everyone who came into contact with your exceptional young man was certainly enriched in some small way.

It is a tribute to you for having raised such an outstanding individual, respected by his peers, his coaches and teachers, and by people like me who were not lucky enough to have known him but do understand that his personal contribution (albeit all too short) to our life fabric truly made a difference.

    Marc Levinson

Aaron had a heart of joy! He didnt like to put on a show or be center of attention. I had a personal story with him during gym class. We were in Coach Kennys strength and conditioning class. He asked Aaron to demonstrate something for the under classmen. I happend to be one of them. So, Coach Kenny asked Aaron to take his shirt off so that we could see what bones he was working. Well, when he did that all of us girls went crazy! Aaron got sooo nervous and put his shirt on. That smile lit across his face! He had such a heart of joy! His smile was worth more then a million! Im a very good friend of Shameka's and I hope that she follows his footsteps as the WONDERFUL person he turned out to be. You just couldn't ask for more. As for his father Mr.O'Neal you did a wonderful job making him into the man he is today. Nick stay strong and remember everything you brothers shared together. Aaron you will ALWAYS be in my heart! I LOVE YOU O'NEAL FAMILY!

    Dear O'Neal Family,
Reading the comments of Aaron's friends and teammates tells all of us that this young warrior was meant for Mizzou. He is our kind of young man. With all of these words and thoughts, Aaron's personality comes to life as one of those special young men, whom all of us look up to, and who has always been around to lead their teammates onto the field. The kind of young man that makes Mizzou what it is to all of us: None of us walk away from Mizzou without a special place in our hearts for the Tigers. Sadly we all have no choice but to understand that our Creator perhaps has a position of choice for Aaron on his field in Heaven. That is the only way to explain why such a fine young man would be taken in his prime, doing what he loves; while asking such an unbelievable sacrifice from his loving family. May God Bless You, and may your memories of Aaron give you the strength to meet the challenges of those days ahead of you; with the strength that Aaron had as he took on the!
many challenges that he faced in his young life.

Jim Judd, Football 1965-68, Track 1966-69

As a parent I was deeply saddened by the death of your son, Aaron. As a Mizzou football fan, I was looking forward to watching him on the field for many years to come.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May your memories of the happy times spent with your son help you through this extremely sad time.

    Sharon Wright

    Dear family,

I am truly honored to call Aaron a teammate of mine, he was truly one in a billion. I wasnt best friends with Aaron but it still feels like I lost a brother.

At our basketball practices, he would take the worst situations and turn them into laughing matters, thats just the way he was. The ultimate teammate, what else can you say?

I love you Aaron, and just like Imani said, I'm going to make it, and make it for you.

John Henry PNH class of 05

I am sorry for your loss. No parent should ever have to lose a child. Aaron left you when he should have had so much of his life ahead of him. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry for your loss!

Myself along with my family sends our condolences out to you all. Aaron was a fine young man and an excellent athlete. But with our faith in the lord, especially in our time of need he can weather any storm in our paths through life. And with that faith we will see the sunshine in the end.

    Sean Coffey

At these times it is hard to find words that adequately say what we feel. I have been a Mizzou fan all of my life and this has to be one of the most emotional moments that I can remember. I never met Aaron but if half of what has been written about him is true, it was my loss. May God ease the pain of family and friends. Celebrate his time here on earth and what he brought to each of you. Please accept my condolecences.

    Don Christie

    To Aaron's family:
I didn't know Aaron but know from all of these messages that he must have been a wonderful person. I know it seems there are no words or anything anyone can do to ease your pain at this moment. Time even seems impossible. But you know that he is in a better place and will one day greet you in heaven with his beautiful beaming smile. Aaron seemed to have lived each day like it was his last with no complaints, everyone should be that way. As I heard the news and read the articles of Aaron's tragedy if gave me chills and still does every time I think of him. Hang in there, stay close to your family and loved ones, and let God be with you through this painful time! You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am an alumnus of MU and I am currently working with two interns who attend MU who were familiar with your son. As a mother, I know what it is to love a child. I also realize that no one can ever love your child more than you, except Jesus. I am deeply saddened by your loss. I am praying for your family. May you find peace and comfort in God's love.

Unfortunately, we never had the honor of meeting Aaron, but our daughter is a Mizzou cheerleader so we feel like we know his spirit and from what we've read of his character, we can only imagine your pride in him. Please hold on to that pride. Try to imagine Aaron at his happiest time, probably carrying a football - multiply that happiness by the biggest number that you can think of and that must be what Heaven's like! I hope that you can find peace and comfort in the fact that Aaron is happy, happier now than he's ever been. God bless your family, our hearts and prayers are with you.

As a big and loyal MU tigers fan im truly sorry that this trajedy has happened. My prayers all go out to the O'neal family, the team, and the friends of Aaron. God bless

    To the O'neal Family

I know u might not remember me but I was Aaron's friend and teammate for two years at Parkway North. I moved right before my senior year but I still kept in touch every couple of moths just to see how he was doing. On the 12th when I got the news I did not know exactly know what to think. The time I spent with him and all the Vikings I remember him always being in top physical condition. I am in Alaska currently serving active duty army and tickets were around 1,000 dollars to get to St. Louis on such a short notice so I am sorry I could not make it. Aaron was a great person and I hope that you guys stay strong and keep GOD on your side. I will keep you in my prayers.

My deepest sympathy to the O'neal Family. I did not know Aaron personally, but I am a good friend of his sister Ersula. But in a sense, I felt that I knew him because she was and always will be so proud of her little brother. There was never a time when I wouldn't hear the great stories about Aaron or see the latest pictures. I know that he will be deeply missed by all of you. He was a wonderful son and brother and he is smiling down on all of you from heaven. He will forever be with you in all you do. Mr. & Mrs. O'Neal, you did the best job a parent could do for their child, this world needs more Aaron O'Neal's.

God Bless the O'Neal family, and I will see you when you get home Ers. I love you girl, and my heart aches for you. Tell Asia and Amar that I love them and to keep on smiling.

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY

I said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard---
I felt the answer in my heart
    Although He spoke no word.
I didn't ask for wealthor fame,
    I knew you wouldn't mind.
I asked Him to send treasures
Of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that He'd be near you
At the start of each new day,
To grant you health and blessings
And friends to share your way.
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small,
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all.

To the O''Neil family, Aaron was the first person in middle school that i met that had a good attitude and could make you laugh. Through High school he was still the same kid i met in middle school in history class but it was a different class i had with him which was Latin 1 and that was probably the only classes i enjoyed going to because he was a really funny guy to be around. He would make me laugh. Remember he will always be smiling down on his family and friends.

It''s just a reminder that we have no control over our lives. He is in a much better place now. Lots of prayers. Amanda

Our family sends our condolences. May God Bless you all and remember that Aaron is smilling down on you from above.

Aaron, the tigers will truely growl forever in your memory. Im 32 yrs. old and really cannot remember a time when I didnt cheer on our tigers. Although I did not know of you previously, my heart sank when I heard of your death. I lost my best friend in life when he too was only 19. I can only imagine the pain your family feels at the thought of a life cut so very short. Although we did not hear of great exploits on the field of you making a game saving tackle, or making that last minute interception, we know the tiger was within you. Whether its after a win or a loss, I feel you will be there, if only for a moment, to give a wink to a teammate, or a nod to the crowd. We will not forget about #25, but will remember, about your sacrifice and your commitment to excellence. From this moment on, when I hear M-I-Z-Z-O-U, I will know you are there. God speed.

I am so sorry to hear of your sudden loss. He was a fine person and someone that young children could look up to. May God keep you close and may he rest now in eternal Peace.

DON''T KNOW WHAT TO SAY....DIDN''T KNOW A.O. ALL THAT WELL, BUT AS EVERYONE WHO PRECEEDED ME SAID, THAT SMILE SPOKE WORDS EVEN IF AARON DID NOT. GOREGEOUS PERSONALITY, SWEET DEMEANOR.....OF THE TIMES I DID INTERACT WITH A.O., HE WAS EITHER GROOVING, LAUGHING, TALKING, BUT NEVERTHELESS ALWAYS, ALWAYS SMILING. MY HEART GOES OUT TO THE O''NEAL FAMILY, ESPECIALLY HIS SISTERS, BECAUSE I TOO HAVE A BROTHER, AND COULD ONLY IMAGINE HOW MY WORLD WOULD FALL APART IF HE WAS NOT HERE WITH ME. TO THE TEAM, GOD WILL COMFORT YOU IN WAYS UN-IMAGINABLE, JUST LEAN AND DEPEND ON HIM. CONTINUE TO HOLD IT DOWN, THIS IS JUST ONE MORE REASON TO TAKE IT ALL THE WAY THIS-AND EVERY FORTHCOMING SEASON.

    ONE LOVE A.O.

I live in the 7 Pines subdivision--right across the street from Parkway North. I found out about your son by reading the big white letters on the fence.
As a University of Missouri graduate, I mourn the loss of a wonderful young athlete with lots of potential. As a Parkway North neighbor, I am very sorry for your family in this most difficult time. May your tears and sorrow be offered as a sacrifice to our Creator and may he hold your family gently in his hands.
God bless your family--now and forever,

    Sincerely in Christ,

This brought great peace to me when my good friends died in High School in a motorcycle accident, I hope it brings you the same comfort. And know that people everywhere are grieving with you.

    The Borrowed Gem

I''ll lend you for a little while
A child of mine, He said,
For you to love while he lives,
And mourn for when he''s dead

It may be six or seven years,
    Or twenty-two or thirty,
But will you till I call him back
Take care of him for me?

He''ll bring his charm to gladden you,
And shall his stay be brief,
    You''ll have his lovely memories
    As soace for your grief.

I cannot promise he will stay
    Since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there
I want this child to learn.

I''ve looked the whole world over
In my search for teachers true,
And from the throng that crowds life''s lanes
    I have selected you.

Now will you give him all your love
    Nor think the labor vain,
Nor hate Me when I come to call
    To take him back again?

I fancied that I heard you say,
"Dear Lord, thy will be done,"
For all the joy the child shall bring,
The risk of grief we''ll run.

    We''ll shelter him with tenderness
We''ll love him while we may,
And for the happiness we''ve known
    Forever grateful we''ll stay.

But shall the angels call for him
    Much sooner than we planned,
We''ll brave the bitter grief that comes
    And try to understand.

I feel terible for the loss your family has suffered. I hope you find peace knowing Aaron was doing what he loved.

I am So So sorry for your loss. I never personally met Aaron but I was so hurt and saddened by this because I describe myself as a very empathetic person. However, I find myself sitting at my desk literally in tears because I can NOT begin to imagine or even come close to putting myself through what your family must be going through because it has to be an unimaginable pain and feeling of great sorrow. My heart aches for your family. My husband, Shirdonya, was his teammate last year and spoke very highly of your loved one. He said that he was an awesome teammate, hard worker, always pushed his self to his maximum capacity (at times beyond) and he never complained. Most importantly, he said that he was an even better young man, which speaks thousands of his character and you as his parents. I am speechless with words that I wish I could pass on to you for comfort because I know that right now your comfort and strength can ONLY come from the Lord above. God Bless you and know that He is with you through this every single step of the way.

    Crystol and Shirdonya Mitchell

I just wanted to send my condolences to you on your loss. As a father of a child, I know we as parents should not have to go through this. Aaron will not be forgotten.

My heart goes out to your family. No one knows what you are going through unless you have experienced the loss of a child. Thanksgiving morning 2003 my son was in an automobile accident and 7 days later he died. At 21 years of age he had his whole life before him. He was our only son out of 3 children. The hole in your heart and that empty feeling does't go away but over time you learn how to go forward. Don't let people fool you when they say time will help heal. You will never forget and you won't want to forget because those memories are all you have. It has now been 1 1/2 years since our loss. We go to work each day but we think of him everyday. Our lives will never be the same but I thank God for the 21 years we had with him.

Your son touched many lives in the short time he was given on earth. Hold on to the wonderful memories that you have and hold on to those you have in your life because you will need their support. The grief is overwhelming but you have hit bottom and the only way to go from here is up. I did it and you can to. Time will help you accept what you can not change. If you are like I was, I wanted to talk about how wonderful my son was and I wanted people to listen. I did not want them to be afraid to bring him up because I might cry. Yes I cried many times but it made me feel better. I wanted to talk and I wanted to cry. I just want you to know that you have many people praying for you and your family. You certainly are in our thoughts and I want you to know that we are very sorry for your loss.

    Christy Hargis

I am truly sorry for the loss of your son. I didn't know him personally but I am a big Mizzou fan. Wish their was something to take away the pain and saddness. God Bless.

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." John 14:1-3 I would like to express that in this time of mourning, it is also a time of celebration. Aaron is in a better place, and has left here as one of thee most content, humble, respectful individuals I came to encounter in my life. I not only believe, but know, that God will carry everyone through this trying time. You all are in my thoughts and prayers, and may God continue to Bless and keep you.

We were stuned to hear of Aaron's passing this passed week...we were so looking forward to seeing him play football at Mizzou. He was a bright young man and I know will be sorely missed not only by the staff and fans, but by his family. May you always keep the memories of him close to your heart. I know he is in G-d's hands now...there must have been something G-d needed him for, more than we did here on earth. My prayers are with the family, staff and players.

I know this has to be a tough time for all of you. I just wanted to send along my condolences. From what I could tell Aaron was a stand-up kid who should and will be remembered for something other than football. May God help you through this terrible tragedy and may Aaron shine through all of us.

    Nick

    O'Neal's,

I've known Aaron since the 7th grade and I always admired his drive, from the first time I met him. He was not like other kids... The rest of us lived for the here and now and Aaron strived for the future, he stood for something all of us would have wanted. I remember finding Aaron the day I found out about his scholarship and the look on his face when I cornered him and told him how proud of him I was, was priceless.. He stood there for a moment then bust out in a laugh and a smile and thanked me.

Aaron was a gentleman and in the eyes of us, his classmates, he stood for something. He still does.

Aaron was raised to be such an upstanding and determined young man. And for that we thank you.. This world needs more guys like Aaron....

As I raise my own family and strive for my own goals in life, I will think of Aaron and his perseverance... From that I will draw strength...

Aaron may never get to hear the sound of music again, but he will forever hear our voices in the presence of his maker....

We love you A.O. #25. Rest in Peace.

    You will forever be missed,

    Mrs. Alyssa Stukenbroeker and Family.

Your family is in our prayers and may Aaron forever be in our hearts. I can only imagine the pain you're feeling, it wasn't long ago that we almost lost a loved one to the game. But may Aaron's passion for life and football forever show his grace. You will always be remembered! God bless and may the lord be with you in your time of need.

The Anderson Family (Jim, Gretchen, Danielle, Jimbo, and Sydney)

My best wishes go out to you and the rest of your family. Your son/brother would have made a wonderful contribution to our school and to our football team. But more importantly he made a difference in all of our lives that he's touched.

    Danielle Anderson

    Mr. and Mrs. O'Neal,

Although I never had the opportunity to meet your son, I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. I cannot imagine the grief that you and your family must be going through at this time.

Here is a short Bible verse that I hope will help to bring you comfort during this trying time:

Strength and comfort are generously available to us when we bring our grief to the Lord. (Psalm 70:20-21)

From the people that I have spoken with that knew Aaron, I thought I would share these word from St. Francis of Assisi as they seem to embody Aaron's life and the inspiration he brought to so many during his time here on Earth:

"Preach the gospel to the whole world, and if necessary, use words."

Please know that my prayers are with you. God Bless.

My condolences and prayers go out to the O'Neal family. I was a class mate of Aaron. Even though I didn't get to really know him, I saw how much of an impact he had on people's lives, especially today. I just left his wake and the amount of people that was there was astounding. Classmates who didn't even know him very well felt the need to pay their respects to this fine young man. Aaron never seemed angry and always seemed to have a smile on his face and he passed that happiness on to others. You will truly be missed. Much Love

P.S. Shameka hang in there sweety and have a great senior year (he'll be proud!!)

As a graduate of Mizzou I am deeply saddened by your loss. Aaron was obviously a fine young man who had much to contribute both on the gridiron and to the community after his college days ended. Having a 19 year old son myself who attends Mizzou I can imagine your grief. Although small consolation in your time of suffering, I truly beleive that he is in a better place and that you wil be reunited with him in the future. May god bless Aaron and your family.

With any loss, the pain becomes greater with the more shock it brings. I don't just fel like the University of Missouri lost a football player, I feel like I lost a brother. I never knew Aaron, but I will never forget that he achieved the dream of being a Missouri Tiger. Thank you for raising such a wonderful, driven, honorable young man who made us all proud. You wil never be forgotten and We love you

As a season ticket holder and with 5 Mizzou alums in my family, it warmed our hearts to learn of Aaron's dream to play for the Tigers. His hard work and dedication were incredible and will never be forgotten--in fact, a model for others to fllow. We were all saddened by his passing, but he will always be remembered for his passion for the game, and for Mizzou. Please know that all of you are in my prayers and thoughts. I am so sorry for your beloved loss, and my heart aches for your family. I didn't know Aaron personally, but being in charge of Tigers Lair, the student cheering section, this past year, I was very familiar with his name and presence on the sidelines. I have only heard good things from my friends that knew him, so I'm sure he was an incredible person. Although he is no longer with us, it is up to us to keep his spirit and memory a part of us forever.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. O'Neal and family,

Our family's thoughts and prayers are with you as you face this most difficult time. God gives us many gifts, but few as precious as His love and our children. As parents, we share your feelings for your son. Our son, Jason Simpson, is a teammate of Aaron's. Jason told us that Aaron is "cool" and he enjoyed being teammates with him.

Please know that we will pray for understanding and comfort for you.

My prayers goes out to the O'neal family and all the students at PNH. When I first heard the news it saddened me deeply. The only thing I got is all the great memories of Aaron. I remember 6th grade camp, walking around with our shirts tucked in our boxers and the laughs we had in the cabin. I remember getting in groups in communicatios class and making the class laugh with some of our skits. Most of all I will remember what a wonderful person Aaron was.

    A.O.

I am kind of lost for words right now, but I know you are smiling down on us from heaven. I just want to let know that I am glad I was able to call you one of my boys. I thought of you as a little brother with so much potential. I know it is hard to see how someone really feels about you when you are not around them all the time. I just want you to know that I wish that I had more time with you then I did. You had to be one of the most good spirted people that I have ever met. I can honestly say that I had never seen nothing other than a smile on ur face, and that is what is hurting so much. I know that your presence will never leave me but is hard because I can not see you. I can remember when we had to push boards I would always know that you were going to call me for that ride in the mourning. Like you said in one of your favorite quotes " You don't how good you have it till it is gone", and thats how this world feels about you A.O. My thoughts and prayers got out!

to your friends and family and SONNNNNN I LOVE YOU FOREVER!!!!

AO, as most of us know him, was a great guy. Therefore I won't go on and on about things you already know about him. I thank you for sharing him with us, and I thank God for allowing him to impact others in a way he was aware yet humble about. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 stresses to us that there is a season for everything and a time for every purpose under the sun. The second verse tells us that there is a time to be born and a time to die, while the fourth verse allows us a time to mourn. There are various seasons we will experience through life that allow us to grow an mature. AO has experienced his seasons of life according to God's will, not our own. We should be grateful and learn from Aaron's life. He would want you, his family, and all of us to keep smiling and laughing, stay strong, follow our dreams, and keep God first. Your family is in my prayers. May God continually bless you in all you strive to do.

    I'm Free

I'm free, praise the Lord I'm free

No longer bound, no more chains holding me

My soul is resting, it's just a blessing

Praise the Lord, hallelujah, I'm free

May God bless and keep the family in their time of need. Rest in Peace Aaron!

My prayers and sympathy are with your family at this extremely rough time. I had only met AO once. If I remember correctly it was after the spring game. Not surprisingly the one impression that I was left with was that this was one of the nice guys. He was genuine, honest, open, and depsite being very tired had a smile for me prior to the interview, and one after we were done. He appeared to love the game of football. Not to underscore your loss, but I hope when the Lord decides it is my turn to go that I am doing something I love, and honestly football would be my first choice. As someone who has mourned recently I urge you to remember to Rejoice in the knowledge he is in a far better place, and that soon you will join him again.

    Michael Daugherty - IM writer

it's a shame that you didn't live longer to grace the world with your talent. But each on of us here on earth was born with a purpose, your you have fulfilled and it was just time for you to go on to better days ahead.

i didn't know you, but i've been reding about you everyday since you passed. i'm sorry i never had the pleasure, but i'm sure your presence blessed all that had the pleasure of encountering you.

family-just know that your loss is only heaven's gain and when times get rough just remember, you'll always have an angel looking out for you.

My sister knew Aaron as her neighbor and I know him only as a fellow tiger. To see the impact he has made during his short time in my own sister's life and as a Missouri tiger, is a true testament to Aaron's outstanding character. Through all the sorrow you are experiencing as friends and family, I home you find comfort in knowing you will have an angel watching over you in Aaron.

My thoughts and prayers are with the O'Neal Family and with Aaron. he was a great kid, we had our day in practice bumping heads with each other. Aaron had something about him that brought laughter to everyone that knew him. i am truely sorry that something like this could happen to Aaron and his Family. If there is anything the O'Neal Family needs don't be hesitant to ask the Football Team.

I met Aaron one time through a player on the team that I know real well, and Aaron came off as a wonderful person. Aaron was a great man, and a true friend. We are all deeply saddened by the loss of Aaron. I have many great memories that he and I shared together, memories I could never forget. Aaron had so much to offer both on and off the football field, he was a tremendous athlete but more than that he was my friend. So, Farewell Aaron, good buddy.......I know your smiling down on us all with that big ole' smile and those remarkebly white teeth. I'll miss you.

    Eric Coates

I didn't know Aaron personally, but as a fellow student athlete at Mizzou, I would like to express my deepest regret for this tragic loss. It is easy to see from this response that Aaron was an incredible person and he touched so many lives. My deepest condolences go out to his family in this difficult time. Aaron will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May God Bless him and his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathies to you and your entire family. As a father of a young daughter I cannot imagine the pain that you are going through at this time. Please know that I am praying to God that he help ease this pain and provide the strength and peace it takes to move through this tragedy. Aaron was respected by his teamates, coaches, friends and family not necessarily by his words, but by his actions. I offer this prayer to you...may the Lord keep you and hold you in his arms of healing...Amen.

I can't believe Aaron is gone. My heart goes out to the family for their loss.

I had the good fortune to coach Aaron in football when he was in the 8th grade with the Junior Vikings. My son Patrick is a good freind of his brother Nick. Aaron was a hard worker who never complained and always gave his best effort. I was not surprized when started setting school records in high school and I was not surprized when he earned a scholarship to Mizzou. I was looking forward to seeing him play in college. He was a quality person and he will be missed.

    Dear O'Neal Family,

As one of Aaron's tutors last year, I looked forward to the time I was able to spend with Aaron each week. His incredible smile always made my day better and he was a great young man of excellent character and integrity. He worked hard not only on the field, but also in his classes, and I always appreciated his attitude. I couldn't help but notice how he was always encouraging his teammates and was so willing to help them. Often times he would ask permission to let a teammate join in on our sessions if he knew they needed extra help getting ready for a test too. We'll always remember that Aaron smile and you will be in my prayers. Thanks for sharing him with so many of us at Mizzou.

    Crystal Mathews

I cannot understand your pain, but I pray God gives everyone touched by Aaron the strength to carry on the way he would have wanted you to. And just to be thankful to have been a part of Aaron's life and always keep Aaron in your heart, and when the time is right, celebrate his life so that everyone can remember Aaron and look at his legacy for inspiration within our own lives. God bless and we are terribly sorry.

I covered Missouri football for KFNS radio for six seasons from 1993 through the '98 season. I wish I had had a chance to meet Aaron and watch him compete. When Coach Bunton said that Aaron had always dreamed of being a Missouri Tiger, I thought of my first two seasons covering the program when not many St. Louis players dreamed of playing for Mizzou. The Tigers really need guys like Aaron..the Tiger Family is with you and # 25 will have a special place in Missouri football.

    Brooks Parriott

Wow. I'm incredibly heartbroken for you and your family. Aaron seems like he was an incredible young man. I just recently saw this story on the news and I was heartbroken, and felt lead to say something. I prayed for you (the family) tonight, and I know I don't know you, but God does and he knows your heart and your feelings and he knows what you can handle, and that's how I know he knows your strong enough to get through this tough, tough loss. I will continue to pray for your family, God bless!

He was a cool, caring, strong person. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and all those who have been touched by him...which are many. We will always remember!

Aaron lived on my floor in Graham Hall. He is one of the nicest, well mannered guys I have ever known. He stopped by my room every day to say hi with a huge smile on his face. I am going to miss him deeply and it is sad to see this happen to such a postive and talented kid. I am so sorry for your loss because it has affected me greatly and I cannot even imagine what is like for your family to lose a person like him. I am keeping Aaron and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

As a College football player and someone who has lost a teammate, It hurts to see a member of the football fam pass. Atleast he passed doing what he loved, playing football, and following his dream, being a Missouri Tiger. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers, aswell as Aaron's teammates and friends at Missouri. It sounds as if he was a great young man, so rest asured that he will be shining down upon us. I will say a special prayer and ask my grandparents to look after him. Take care and god bless.

To Aaron's Family: My wife and I are so sad to hear of your loss. Right now, I know there are no words that can be written or spoken to make sense of this. Extremely polite, always a gentleman, always went out of his way to say hello Mr. Edinger, a positive influence on anyone he came in contact with. I thank his parents and family for letting him be part of our family's life. God Bless you all. You did a tremendous job as a parent.

    Dear O'Neal Family,

My name is Nicole Biondo, and I worked with Aaron from August to the end of the football season as one of his student athletic trainers. He was one of the freshman that I was closest to. Outside of football, he was always the first one to say hello and ask for a hug. He was a very genuine man, and of course, very talented. I know he worked hard in practice every day. I will miss him greatly, and my prayers are with your family. God will take care of him.

It saddens me beyond belief to think we have lost such a talented and spirtfilled young man. I never had the chance to meet Aaron, but being a Parkway alumni, I have followed him throughout the last few years in the newspaper. I was extremely excited when he chose the University of Missouri to pursue his football and educational career. As the upcoming Missouri Tiger's football season upfolds, we will not forget Aaron's passion for the game. His spirt is sure to live on in the hearts of all of his fellow teammates, coaches and fans.

My heart goes out to your family through this very confusing time. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

It is strange how the loss of someone you have never met can impact the way you live your life.

We did not lose Aaron to any sinister actions but through his own willingness to push himself to be great.

He sets a wonderful example for us all.

Hello!! I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that God will bless you and heal your hearts.

    Rachel Branson

It is strange how the loss of someone you have never met can have an impact on the way you live your life.

We did not lose Aaron by any sinister method but by his willingness to push himself to be great.

I hope we can all leave this world under those circumstances with so noble a goal.

    Dear O'Neal family

I didn't know your son but from what I have read this week I would have liked to. I am a Mizzou fan with two sons about Aaron's age. Both were/are college athletes and are great young men and I now feel incredibly fortunate to still have them with us. I don't understand why God sometimes chooses to take the very best ones from us early. Please accept our most sincere condolences and know that you will be in out thoughts and prayers through this incredibly difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire O'Neal family and the Missouri Tiger football family. I was unfortunate to never meet Aaron but from reading the newspaper, I can tell he was a great human being and a very dedicated athlete. As a fellow football player, Aaron's death strikes to close to home. I wish the O'Neal family and the Tiger football family the best of luck in the future and may God bless them both.

Jacob - St. Charles West grad/football player

To the family: I can't even begin to think or feel the pain that you are going through. Aaron was a close friend to me and it's all so shocking to even think that this is happening. Aaron: You will never be forgotton in my heart and I will miss you forever.

My thoughts and prayers are with the O'Neal Family. I enjoyed having the opportunity to watch Aaron play in high school and looked forward to his career at Mizzou.

    To the O'Neal family:

Words can't express the grief you all must be feeling at this time. I never knew Aaron, but I have friends who did and all I have heard is beautiful things about him and his life. I know family meant a lot to Aaron. I have heard that he was a genuine individual who valued life a lot. I manage a musical artist named "Stevie Stone" and next week, we are shooting a video for a song he wrote for the Rams. This song will be used in a variety of ways. Since we do most of our work in St. Louis and I attened MU and we are from Columbia, we would like to place "In loving memory of Aaron O'Neal" at the end of the video. I would like to talk to someone from the family about this in further detail. You can reach me at (573)424-1806. Our hearts and prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sad for your loss. I can only say a prayer for your loved one.

I wanted to express my condolences towards your family in this time of great sorrow and loss. I have been a tiger fan my entire life and sometimes get all caught up in the "game" and not the person involved. It is a shame that it takes times like these to really put Life in perspective. I am sure Aaron will be smiling from above for eternity, as his teammates play with the desire and love of the game that Aaron had. I am sure he will be looked upon as a Tiger forever and most importantly a Great Human Being.

    God Bless,

    To the O'neal Family,

I just wanted to express my sincerest sympathies to you and the rest of your family on such a tragic loss. I have a family member that played for the Tigers and now currently plays for the Dolphins and he had nothing but great things to say about Aaron, being that he was a good person and had a promising future in the sport of football. A thought of comfort, "God Only Takes The Best". My prayers are with you.

Aaron was truly a great man, player, brother, son, and he was my friend. From PNH to Mizzou, I knew that Aaron was going to be a force to be reckoned with. After all, he set every rushing record possible at our high school. He was the pride of Parkway North. Aaron always brightened me up whenever he was around, his smile was contagious, and the jokes were endless. I will always miss him and remember him, and my prayers are with his family and to all the other friends who knew A.O. I love you Aaron.

    Hannah Moore

We know there are no "magic words" to make it all better, but, wanted you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. All the praise and adulations your son has received proves what a fantastic job you both did as parents and in that you should be proud. Aaron was only here for a short time, but, for a reason and obviously he did the job he was suppose to do. We are parents as well and can only imagine how hard it is to lose a child. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers

I just wanted to send my deepest sympathy to your family. I knew Aaron since i was a freshman in high school and now i attend MU. He was by far one of the nicest guys i had ever met. I never knew anyone that would ever say anything bad about him, it was always something positive. I just want you to know that your family will always be in my prayers. Once again I am so sorry.

From Bulldog to Viking to Tiger, Aaron was a great teammate, even better friend, and amazing person. He had a smile that could light up a room, and a personality that nobody could hate. He was one of the nicest people I have ever known, and it is an honor to have been friends with Aaron. He will never be forgotten, and may god rest his soul.

    To the O'Neal's:

I grieve for the loss of your dear son. Based on all that I've read and heard, he left a great example of how to conduct yourself as a teammate, friend and son. You should be commended for raising such a fine young man. May God comfort you in your loss and give you hope that Aaron will find joy and newness of life both now and in the life to come.

Aaron and I met through mutual friends on the popular internet "social-network" of Facebook. I had only talked to him through messages a few times, yet he had left an impression on me that will be remembered forever. From those few words I could tell that he was a great guy. He was a genuinely nice person. When I heard the news that he had died, it hit hard. I think it was because I realized, we are the same age, and I know there are so many things left to be accomplished. Through all the signs, postings and messages I can tell that he truly was a remarkable person, and left behind a legacy that will not be forgotten. Aaron truly is someone whom many would aspire to be.

I cannot imagine the loss felt at losing a son, brother or teammate. Although you have suffered a loss, know that you have made many people re-think the lives they lead, and the decisions they make. Sometimes it takes a tragedy to realize what could be lost.

Death is a sad thing, but he is in a better place now. I know he is looking down on everyone, wishing he could be here, but ready to be with his Maker in Heaven. From the little bit that I saw, he lived a life to be proud of, and I know he will be remembered forever. God Bless.

To the family of Aaron O'Neal:

Words cannot express the sorrow that we feel in your time of loss.

I am a proud alumnus of the University and I have read how proud Aaron was to represent the school as a student/athlete. Please know he will always be remembered, even by those of us who did not know him personally.

My prayers are with you in this time of sorrow.

May God bless and keep you and keep Aaron until you meet again.

I would like to send my condolences in this time of tragedy, even though I did not know Aaron. I know how it is to lose someone who you care for. I went through the same thing last year when my mother died, just one week before Mother's Day. My prayers are with you.

As a former Missouri student and athlete and former high school coach, I am deeply saddened whenever something bad happens within the Tiger family. This tragedy reminds all of us of how precious life is, and of how we must each make the most of whatever time we have with those we love. Aaron was following his dream, and deserved a better outcome, but now is a member of the ultimate team, and that should give the rest of us peace. God bless and thank you for the gift of Aaron, however brief.

It saddens me to lose any young person, much less a child of the stature of Aaron. I follow the MU Tigers in everything they do and Aaron's loss will be felt this season. It is my hope that the team pick-up the strength and will of your son and carry it with them in all they do. Again I'm deeply sorry for your loss from my family to yours.

I just want to extend my deepest sympathies to the O'Neal Family. By all accounts, Aaron was a terrific kid, a kid of very high character, a young man that the entire MU Family could be proud of. That He was taken from us so soon is beyond heart-breaking.

Words can never compensate for a loved one lost too soon, but know that You are not alone in Your grief. We barely knew Aaron, but we will never forget Him.

The thoughts of thousands of Tiger fans and sports fans alike are with you at this time. My deepest condolences to your family at this time. I only know what I have read or heard on media outlets, but Aaron seemed to be a model young man and an oustanding human being. He will always be remembered by the Tiger family with the utmost regard. It was not his honor that he wore the tiger uniform, but an honor by all tiger fans, the University and teammates that he wore the uniform for us. There are no words to express how my heart hurts for you right now. I have 3 little boys at my home right now and they are my life and my love. My older boys are huge Missouri fans and my 8 year old says that he want to "grow up and play football for Missouri" and the other is an infant. I can't help to think of my son when I hear that all Aaron wanted to do was "play for Missouri".

I guess I just want you to know that there is a family in South Carolina that is praying for you and for Aaron and wishing that there was some way that we could take away some of your pain. Aaron sounded like a young man that had his head on straight and enjoyed life. I wish I could have know him.

I know that he is now in the arms of God and feeling the love that we are all longing to feel.

Dear O'Neill family, as a Parkway North alum I was saddened to hear the news about Aaron. I wanted to express my condolences to your family. I didn't know Aaron, but I know what kind of guy he was. I graduated college right before he came to Mizzou. Him and I have a unique link in that both of us played football at Mizzou. Even though I didn't know him, he's like familiy. All my football brothers; present, past, and future are my family. I know that he was smart, determined, and gifted just because he had the talent to go t Mizzou and play sports for Mizzou. I feel devistated because part of my family is now gone and Mizzou will never forget him. Never.

I can't express in words the kind of person Aaron was. I lived in Graham with Aaron and you could always count on his smiling face to cheer you up when you were down. I've been a Mizzou fan since I can remember. So when I heard about Aaron's passing, I was deeply hurt even though, I didn't know him. As I was reading the articles in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and this morning tears came to my eyes.

Though Aaron is not here physically, his spirit will forever live on. His spirit will be in his parents, friends, and others hearts. His spirit will even be on the football field with his teammates.

I had met Aaron during his official visit to the University of Missouri while I was a Tiger Hostess two two years ago. I remember him being and honest, respectable young man, who was a joy to be around. I also worked in the Football office the summer he came to school for the first time. He was always so polite and helpful with anything that I needed. To hear of his passing makes me extremely sad. He was not only an excellent athlete, but an all around good person, which is hard to find. He will be missed by many. Be proud of who he was and the life he led, he would be.

It's not going to be easy, but we can work through this hard time and overcome the obstacle together because there still awaits a whole world of possibilities for us. May we continue to trust GOD and help one another. I am going to miss Aaron too.

    I Love You, Mia

    Mia DeLorch (O'Neal)

How weak and fruitless any words we can offer you must be, but it's all we have to offer right now. So many of us want to reach out to you to lend support and love. We feel your loss and any of us would give anything to change it if we could. You became part of the Mizzou family long ago, and this family will always be here for you in your needs.

Deepest sympathies from all. May God grant you the strength you need to always remember Aaron but be able to carry on with your lives.

    David Chesher

Dear Mr. and Mrs. O'Neil, Nick, Eusala, and Shameka,

Our prayer is that our Lord, the God of all comfort, will give you the grace and strength to handle this terrible tragedy. I never knew your son and brother, but everything I've read recently indicates he is a young man of exceptional character. This speaks of a great family who loved and helped him to grow into the man he is. I know he is receiving his reward, and he's in the presence of a great cloud of witnesses who are right now looking down upon you and saying, "I'm all right and I love you."

We'll continue to pray for you.

    Sincerest sympathies,

David, Billie Sue, Joey, Leanne and Natalie Raboin

    Raboin family of mexico, MO

It was a honor to have been in the presence of AO and his magnetic smile. That's what I remember about him. No matter when I saw him, he always had a smile and a hug ready. He was in the minority in this world as one of the few geniune people God created. I know that not a single person can say a single bad thing about this wonderful person. I write this not as a cheerleader, but as a sister who lost a little brother. RIP A-A-A-O

    Apryl Duncan

To all of Aaron's family and friends we would like to convey our deepest sympathy at this time. We also know what it is like to lose a son suddenly, and unexpextedly. You most definitely are in our thoughts and prayers.

We send our condolences and prayers to the O'Neal family. We never got to meet Aaron in person but shared our son's stories of joy and laughter of his experiences with Aaron. We are happy and proud that Aaron became a Missouri Tiger.

My condolences to the O'Neal family and to Aaron's friends. I was also in a smaller acting class with Aaron. He was such a nice polite guy. I didn't know Aaron real well but he seemed like such a considerate and dedicated individual. He was one of those people that would always smile and say hi to you, just seeing you around campus. (Even if you weren't great friends) It's truly a sad loss for his friends, family, and for Mizzou. Aaron will always be remembered with that warm smile that he shared so freely with everyone. I know Aaron's now smiling down from heaven and in God's loving care now. God bless you and your family in this deeply saddening time.

As a true Tiger fan, I follow with respect and adminiration Mizzou athletes. Aaron O'Neal was one more example of a stellar athlete and person who chose to give his time and effort to the Mizzou football team. I am truly sorry for your loss and will continue to keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. Nothing is more tragic than losing someone before their time, but remember his time on earth and the joy he gave you.

My family and I send our deepest sympathies on the tragic loss of your son. I know that no words can measure the grief you must feel, and I am truly sorry for your loss. Aaron was called to God for reasons we can not know, but leave some room for rememberance and pride in what he accomplished and the example he set in his short time. As he was proud to be a Missouri Tiger, so we are proud of him, and in that way feel we have lost one of our own. Find comfort in God's grace, who holds him near.

    Troy Pridgeon

O'Neal family, your son will always be rembered as a wonderful young man. May we always keep him close to our hearts...he will always be shining down on you. God bless you all, my heart goes out to you.

Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to be accquainted with this dynamic, much-loved young athlete and student, but my sincerest condolences go out to the O'Neal Family and his friends. I was deeply sorrowed by your loss, and I pray that God gives you the strength to make it through this tragic event. May God be with you.

    Kourtney Mitchell

Was looking forward to seeing Aaron play this fall after a great high school career. These must be the hardest times a family can endure considering the unforeseen and tragic circumstances. You have my prayers and wishes for speedy answers as to the causes of this accident, and for the peace that comes from releasing him back to the Lord.

    Maury Haberberger

I am deeply saddened by the loss of this fine young man. As much as he may be missed as a football player, it appears he will be missed even more as a man. That is the true testament for a student-athlete, in my opinion. The family of Mr. O'Neal is in my thoughts and prayers.

    Eric Lanham

I am very sorry for your tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones.

    To the O'Neal family:

While this is a big loss for the Mizzou family, we cannot begin to imagine how big a loss this is for your family. Aaron will always be in our hearts, and you will always be in our prayers.

My condolences to the family, friends and teammates of Aaron O'Neal. I was looking forward to him being a stalwart defender for the Tigers. Dear Mr and Mrs O'Neal and family,

I grew up in Columbia and am a longtime lover of Mizzou and the athletic teams. Throughout my years growing up in Columbia, there were many Tiger athletes whom I admired and even idolized. From everything I have read about Aaron, I am certain there were a number of young people in Columbia, St. Louis, and around the state of Missouri who had those same feelings of adulation toward your beloved son. How proud you must be!

I 've experienced the death of close loved ones, but not the death of a child or sibling. This is not the way things are "supposed" to happen, and I can only imagine the pain, the confusion, and the anguish you must feel. Please know that there are hundreds, even thousands, of "friends" like myself----friends unknown to you, who hold you in their hearts and prayers, today and in the days to come.

My prayer today is that you will come to find great joy in the memories you have of your Aaron and the young man you raised him to be; that his memory and spirit will create an even more loving and caring family of those he leaves behind; and that you who now hurt so immensely will receive a measure of peace from the love of the One Creator of us all, who now holds Aaron in his loving arms. Peace,

    Fred Loring

    Fred Loring

I'm a Mizzou Alum, born and raised in Missouri, and rabid Tiger Fan. I understand attending and playing for the University of Missouri was Aaron's life long dream. He served the Tiger Nation admirably and was brought back to the arms of God too soon.

Want you to know there are people all of this country and this world thinking about you and your family today in your time of need. God Bless.

    Doug from Minnesota

I am deeply sorry to hear of your loss. I'm sure he is in a much better place with our Lord, and will smile down upon us all.

    Tasha

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Here in Kansas City 810am was discussing your loss this morning and I can not imagine how difficult this time must be for you. The thoughts and prayers of myself and other Tiger alumni friends of mine are with you. My God Bless your family and friends during this time.

    Eric Kilgore

I know this is a devestating time for your family right now. I hope you will take some comfort in the fact that Tiger fans everywhere are thinking of you and Aaron in this time.

I wanted to pass something on to you all. I run a website called PowerMizzou, to which more than a thousand Tiger fans subscribe. This is a link to a thread of posts from Tiger fans that they asked me to pass on to you: http://missouri.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?fid=489&tid=54971548&sid=&style=2

In addition, we have had literally hundreds of posts from fans of probably 40-50 schools across the country on our message board. When you have a chance, you can see those here: http://missouri.rivals.com/forum.asp?sid=898&fid=137

We followed Aaron through the recruiting process and I had a couple of chances to meet him. From my brief meetings, it seemed you all raised a great young man.

    Gabe DeArmond

I really didn't know your love one, nor do I know the family. I want to express my deepest sorrow to this family and offer my sympathy. May God lift your bow down heads, and give you the strength to endure this loss.

Look until the hills which cometh thy help, and thy help comes from the Lord.

I will never forget the wonderful weekend I shared with Aaron and Mr. O'Neal when I hosted Aaron on his visit to Mizzou. I am truly blessed to have known Aaron, he had a smile that would light up a room! Sometimes we don't understand why God takes people away from us....but we have to remember that Aaron is in a better place now...and one day we will all reunite with him in heaven! Until then....Aaron will just continue to bless our lives with his smile from heaven.Your family is in my thoughts and prayers! I love you all and God Bless you! I will truly miss my buddy Aaron!

Kelly Estes- Aaron's Tiger Hostess & Good Friend

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Aaron was a young talented mizzou football player, but he was also a son to your family and to the community of columbia. I didn't know Aaron personally but I do want to send my condolences to the family, friends and football team of Missouri.

May the Lord open the Gates of Heaven for this young man and take care of him.

I didn't know Aaron personally, but his death hits home. Maybe it's because he died so young, or because he died playing for my school. He clearly loved Mizzou and in that we identify. I hope and pray that his family is able to mourn their loss free from media scrutiny. It is important for us all to realize that he he was much more than a football player, he was someone's son and someone's brother.

I have known Aaron since I was in 7th Grade and he was in 8th grade. He would always have a smile on his face, and one personal story that really got to me: I was on the JV Scout team his Senior Year, and he ran the ball up the middle and I went to go tackle him, and He absolutely LEVELED me. As I was laying on the ground, all I heard, was Aaron talking to me, telling me to get up, so he picked me up, and hit me on the helmet, and then would go back to the huddle. That was the type of person he was. Nothing negative was EVER said by him. When he talked, which was seldom, he would only have positive things to say. I considered him a role model because he was one of the most popular kids in the school, but not because of sports, because of the person he was.

I love you, A.O. I will never forget!

    Bo Bunton- PN Grad, teammate

We didn't know Aaron, but we think we know his heart and the kind of spirit he must have to love the things he loved. Our thoughts, wishes, and prayers are with your family in this special time of need. God Bless!

I knew Aaron through friendships that he had with several of my friends. I also knew him from his high school athletic days where I competed against him. Though my time with him was short he made a lasting impression. I admired his warm personality and good nature. He was a very down to earth guy with a great sense of humor. These qualities were evident to me even after spending only a few hours with him. I know that my friends and I have lost a great friend and I only wish I could have grown to know him even more. I want the O'Neal family to know that we are praying for him.

    Andy Carroll

Aaron was a quite guy who had the biggest heart out of anybody that I knew. You are like a brother to the team, a son to the coaches, and a great man to all that knows you. I know you are happy where you are now, and I can see you with that big smile looking down on us. RIP AO. We will meet again one of these days my brother.

When you lose a loved one

It is hard to live on and through the days ahead.

You'll always think of that person

Losing a loved one is hard to understand.

But the memories of Aaron should always be remembered, his good times cherished, and those special times treasured.

Although the O'Neal family's heart is broken

And that you wish that Aaron came back,

    Let your emotions be felt.

Place your hope in that Aaron is in God's hands

And that your last moment with Aaron will be kept dear to your heart.

My deepest symphaties to the O'Neal family. I didn't know Aaron and I am new at MIzzou. But as an athlete I can relate to the hard work and dedication it takes to play competitive sports. I wish I had the chance and the privilige to meet you either on campus or on the field. Rest in peace brother.

I want to say I knew your Aaron O'Neal, I played with him in the 04' season. I want to send my regards for not making his funeral, Aaron was a good kid and I know he's in a better place now.

No one will ever forget Aaron. I had the pleasure to play football with him during high school. He will always be in my prayers.

    Ryan Cunningham

My thoughts and prayers still go out to you and those there who loved A.O. as well. I went to school with Aaron as well as his siblings and its just so hard to say goodbye. But A.O. is no longer suffering. He is under the grace of God where we will all meet again one day. Life goes on and i hope that things are getting better for you. I just wanted to check on your family to make sure you're still strong. I stay in Louisville, KY now and I met some people related to you. I saw them with Aaron's shirt on and it saddens me to have lost a friend. But I'm happy he's in a better place. Take care and may God be with you.

Jeremy Graham (class of 2006 PNH)

I'm sorry this had to happen to you at a young age. I hope your family and friends keep you in their hearts and always remember that you are a special person to them. May God bless you all.

2006. The year that would have been AOs break through year will now be remembered as the year that the MIZZOU Tigers finally made their break through and became a NCAA power house driven by the memory of our fallen tiger and good friend AO

    Steven Baum

First, I would like to give you my apologies for your loss. I never new Aaron but I know that he was a great football player and had a great smile. Blake Bnton, now a senior, said that Aaron was quiet but had a great smile and every time he saw Aaron it put a smile on his face. I belive that Aaron was a good person. Every time I go to North I am always reminded of Aaron O'Neal because of the initials put up in the fence. A.O. 25 There are flowers all around it in remembrance. I send my best of wishes to the O'neal family and Aaron. (P.S. North is 9-0. Their next game is tomorrow)
