The Big 12 Conference and ESPN announced on Monday that Mizzou's Oct. 6 game against Nebraska will be televised on ESPN and will kickoff at 8:15 p.m central time. The contest will be the Big 12 Conference opener for the No. 20-ranked Tigers, who are 4-0 after non-conference play.
The game will mark the second televised game of the year for Missouri, following the season-opening victory over Illinois which aired on ESPN2. It will be Mizzou's first appearance on ESPN since the 2005 Independence Bowl.
The matchup against Nebraska is the annual "Gold Rush" game, in which all fans are encouraged to wear gold. The official "Gold Rush" T-Shirt is available at the Tiger Team Store or can be ordered online at mutigers.com.
A limited number of reserved-seating tickets for the MU-NU game are available to Tiger Scholarship Fund members, football season ticket holders and Student All-Sports Pass holders. There are also a limited number of general admission tickets available to all fans. The Department of Athletics is encouraging fans to act quickly as a sell out is anticipated.
