Pay-Per-View Info for Bowling Green
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou’s 2009 football home opener vs. Bowling Green on Saturday, Sept. 12 will be televised on pay-per-view on participating cable, satellite and fiber-optic providers. Kickoff for the contest is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT from Faurot Field. Information about how to purchase the telecast, including a current list of participating cable, satellite and fiber-optic providers, is attached. Providers will be added throughout the week, and updates will be posted on MUTigers.com as they become available. Suggested retail price for residential purchase is $29.95. Participating cable, satellite and fiber-optic providers will offer the telecast to their customers on a specially designated pay-per-view channel. The telecast will not preempt FSN’s regularly scheduled programming. The game is being televised on pay-per-view because it was not selected for over-the-air broadcast or cable television coverage. This gives fans the option to watch a game they otherwise wouldn’t be able to see on television. Next week’s Mizzou game vs. Furman will also be available on a pay-per-view basis. FSN’s pay-per-view division will produce and distribute the telecasts. For the Bowling Green game Dan McLaughlin will call the play-by-play alongside former Mizzou star and current FSN Big 12 studio analyst Corby Jones. Todd Donoho will serve as sideline reporter. To date, the following video providers are expected to offer the Bowling Green-Missouri pay-per-view telecast. For availability in their specific areas, customers should contact their cable, satellite or fiber-optic provider. Updated information will be posted throughout the week on MUTigers.com. For specific questions about the telecast, please e-mail FSN Midwest.
